Southwest Airlines fashion police

Anybody see a problem with her outfit???|thumb

Kyla Ebbert, who was escorted off a Southwest Airlines flight two months ago for wearing an outfit far less revealing than a bikini top.

Southwest explained its treatment of Ebbert in a letter to her mother, saying it could remove any passenger “whose clothing is lewd, obscene or patently offensive” to ensure the comfort of children and “adults with heightened sensitivities.”

I saw that on the Today show where she wore the same clothes. When she sat down, her skirt hiked up above her panties :)

My husband and I saw that on the news. Even the news guy was shaking his head and laughing. There is nothing wrong with what she is wearing this was totally ridiculous. |crazy|

Reading between the lines, here's what I think really took place...

Ms Ebbert probably wasn't wearing any panties under her short skirt (the article specfically mentions she was wearing a bra, but does not mention panties). While she was getting settled, putting her carry on bag over head or under the seat, fastening her seat belt, etc. someone seated nearby got a pretty clear view of her bare kitty and complained.

Are we assuming that she wore underwear on the plane or was that a Today Show addition? That outfit done commando style could get you in some real trouble! :D

I have worn more revealing clothing then that when flying. Never got nothing ... but some smiles. |bananna|

I guess Southwest wants to add "Fashion police" to it's resume since its already the "Fat police". Unless pushed to the wall with no other options, I haven't flown SW since they instituted their 'fat flyers' policy.

As a pilot, I can honestly say I would not have kicked her off MY plane. Funny enough, it was a male flight attendant who complained in the first place! However, on her return trip from Tucson, she was complimented on her outfit by a female flight attendant |huh

I'm guessing the complaint was made to the male flight attendant by a female passenger seated nearby
