Did New England have to cheat?
 

It seemed to me that the Patriots beat the Jets easily but was it because they cheated?
Looking at the score again they went into the locker room with a score of 14-7. The second half was 24-7 when the cheating would have been effective.

The Patriots should be spanked hard by the league but how hard?

I think they should get some bad draft pics though for at least two drafts.

The should be spanked but I can't imagine they're the only team taping signals. They just happen to be the only team with a guy standing in plain view on the sidelines.

What about listening in on the play calling frequency?

There really isn't much that you can do other then fine the team. I think they need to change this rule any way and have the players make the calls on the field.

I think they should take all their super bowl rings away, come on dont you know thats all you need to do to win is to try figure out the other teams signals. If the Lions could have done that then they would have won all those super bowls.

And the spanking is:
- $250,000 fine for the Patriots organization
- $500,000 fine for Belichick personally(he makes $4+ million/yr.)
- If the Patriots make the playoffs, they'll lose their first-round pick in the 2008 draft
- If they don't get to the post-season, it will cost them their second- and third-round picks

Last week, I wanted San Diego to beat them but no where near as bad as I want a good ass kicking this week.

Oh WTF??? That looks like I think San Diego played New England last week and are playing them this week as well. :) Not what I am saying :)
