New Blog Critique

I've been at it a month now with my new (and now only) site.

I've got my suit of amour on ... I would appreciate any feedback you might give me. Thanks in advance.

It's another porn blog. Looks good, has some pretty good sales text but all in all....its just another porn blog and if you can't tell, even I am starting to find them a bit boring.

Rather than sales text, why not try finding something that interests you to write about and then finding a way to tie that to some of your sponsors.

Or try a soft sell where instead of sales text you write text that strokes the imagination of the reader and makes him have to click the picture or video because he needs to see more. Hell you can even then direct him to a sales vehicle like a free site or gallery.

Thanks Walrus. Would anyone else like to give their 2 cents? Thanks.

I think the layout and design is well above the majority of blogs.
I haven't seen free sites added to a blog before, that's a new twist |thumb
But like Walrus I really don't see anything that is going to make the Surfer bookmark your blog and check back often.
Maybe some short Milf stories, or an on going fictional saga of a Milf Hunter (If you have the imagination, I don't)
Maybe some more surfer interaction like the "what is a Milf" poll you have. Rate the milfs, rate the pay sites. |huh

Thanks TPat!

The text is okay but if you ask me its kind of a blur, I don't know where to look when I check out the site, The AVN ads thingy makes it kinda empty And to be user friendly i'd put the categories widget a bit more up, put the poll or searchclouds a bit down, when I just visited your site I right away saw a big picture to the left and some text to the right, I had to scroll down to see the actual blog, that might make a few surfers run away a bit too quick.. But it's your choice

All in all a nice porn blog but there is always stuff to improve :)

Regards, Spork

Hey Art
it doesn't look right in Firefox the right column is now going under the first post |huh

T Pat (or anyone else who sees this problem),

Would you please post a jpeg of the screen or any details you might have (firefox version, resolution, etc.). I can't seem to replicate the problem. I use Firefox (under Ubuntu and Windows and both look okay to me). Thanks.

I use Joomla CMS and I moved the position of some modules around. Sometimes that helps. Thanks for the reply!

Cheers.
