looks like some kind of install scam

the crooks never seem to stop...

I've seen a couple of those but haven't looked into it yet.

A little bothersome because some of those show up as visited links to me.

Might be some of those drive-by redirects. I know my filters went nuts a couple of days ago on some link when I was checking out some of my PPC competition.

They show up as visited links because Plateman colored them that way.

All links on this board are this color by default

Why he did this, I have no fucking idea. Maybe it's his way of causing more panic about un-investigated issues.

they pasted in like that, they were visited when I copied and pasted them, you would think it wouldnt show that way in a post...

one should worry if those crooks are gonna skew our se spots or steal our sales, instead of worrying about the color of a link

You'd have to manually colour those links on a forum as pasting a url would give the default colour.
