new PC
 

Hello all,

Woo Hoo got a new PC :)
80 GB memory 512mb work memory and 2.6 GHz processor

I had big time troubles with my old PC so I want to do thing right now I hope you girls/guys can give me some advice.

I downloaded mozilla firebird and set it as my default webbrowser I only use IE to check my webpages I build ok?

I installed zonealarm and protected IE and Mozilla.
Do I need to put more inhere?
What can't of firewall do you use?

I split the 80 GB in 2
50 for all the software and folders and 30 for the hardware.
I first wanted a second harddrive for back-up but they said I better do it this way.

What more should I do?

I have ZoneAlarm as well & I know that when something tries to access the internet (like a script for an update or something) you'll get a warning or 2 from ZoneAlarm telling you that the program is trying to access the internet & you can clik OK if it is ok for that program to go thru the firewall. You can als check off if it's always ok for that program to access so that you don't have to sit & click OK each time it asks.

No viruses, no crashes, no problems, it just works.

Use the FBI's computer of choice.
