just wondering if someone could give me a quick breakdown on quality of traffic, just noticing differnent results from various sources

Traffic is best qualifiable with keywords

I'm going to be completely contrary and say that it's really simpler than all that.

Regardless of source, it's really all about whether the traffic coming from that source is looking for what you are offering. That is why some sites have alternate tours or landing pages for different sources of traffic, so the content relevant to that traffic can be emphasized.

80% or more of my blog traffic is from search engines

(I know you are going to think that I'm being argumentative just because I don't like seeing men with their fruit of the looms showing, but I assure that that other thread has nothing to do with this. I sometimes have better things to do than bust on your surely gorgeous and studly balls.)

Everyone knows that search engine traffic is the best. Everyone also realizes that a surfer searching for "shemales" most likely will not result in a sale for a "grannies" site. But I seriously doubt that anyone would SEO their granny site with shemale keywords. This is why links lists are broken down by category. It's called filtering.

ok well search engine is something i know nothing about, and better read up on. but i meant was, say i get mgp traffic from site a and b, yet one converts better then the other, determing factors ?

Sometimes it's just luck. If it's consistent over a long term, it is most likely the text in the ads.

or possibly the sources of traffic for one mgp is more targeted than the other...

...running narrow niche TGP's, I take a close look at who else a site is trading with before I approve/request a trade

Or maybe someone's buying shit traffic to trade with that will never convert and that blows conversion ratios to crap...

It's really hard to tell and from what I can see, epoch's admin isn't really helpful in determining where people are sending traffic from. :(

No matter where the traffic comes from site A and site B may have all together different viewers, so what works for site A viewers may not work for site B viewers and vice-versa. Its all a matter of who sees what and what those people like or dislike. Some may surf to a site and they love only cute young blonde cum junkies and others may like hot ass banging sex..if the site has what particular people want then they'll convert if not they'll look elsewhere 'till they find it. Just my opinion.

I used a bad example a better one would be... "free tranny movies" will be much less quality the "asian tranny movies" for conversion of LB-69... even though you will get more of the first. Some times if you dont due proper density analyses completly random keywords can be used to find your site. (happened to me before on blogs)

I also agree with people above that Members Traffic is probably one of the best traffic sources.

maybe this is a stupid question but what exactly is members traffic?

traffic that comes from a paysite members area :) these are guys who will pay for porn and they have valid credit cards.
