looksmart heavy spidering now?
 

since the most recent google reindex i have noticed the wisenutbot has been spidering a few of my sites extensively.

has anyone else noticed this? it used to show up every now and then and hit a couple of dozen pages per site, but now it visits often and sticks around a while.

who does looksmart provide results for nowadays? last i heard it was msn, but i think they lost that contract.

last i remember about looksmart is they were PFI and didn't deal with adult

yeah, i thought it was pretty odd. it started showing up around the 24th and spidered heavily until the last day of january. i haven't seen it since.

there is a post on WW where someone else noticed the same thing, so it doesn't appear to have been an isolated event.
