Hidden Counters

Will any LL have issues posting my free site if I have a hidden CGI counter on my index file? Also, would they consider it a "link"

Basically, the code in my file would look like this:

Also, I would have to use an index.shtml file....what do you all think?

Thanks!

I don't have a problem with using shtml pages but probably some places would.

The counter thing should be fine, but I would have to see ian example of it.

The Monkey you don't have to use .shtml for SSI as long as your server is set up for it add this to your .htaccess file

AddHandler server-parsed .html

you could also add

AddHandler server-parsed .htm

Hope that helps
