Flash Banners?
Are you allowed to use flash banners on Free Sites? Like the ones from the movie room: http://www.tekporn.com/movieroom.html
That's a good question! I know I for one would love to be able to use the flash banners from Movie Room on my free sites. I *think* I'd accept them at my link lists but I fear that many other LL's won't. :(
Many places don't
Aren't flash banners bad for search engines ? They slow down pages pretty much...
Sites designed in Flash are bad for SEO , but Flash Banners , I don't think so.
Those Movie Room flash banners are excellent, but some of the high traffic sites do not allow them, so I do not use them on my freesites.

I wish we get some of the big LL owners to answer this.|couch||deadhorse
Maybe I will do a test run and see who is going to accept it and who is going to decline it. Would be funny if hoes would decline it. |
Another problem with Flash banners is that they do not show a url in the status bar of the browser when you mouse over them.
Another problem is that in order to pass the affiliate code, most flash banners would have to be hosted at the sponsors end, and you know how we treat hosted banners. :(
I do like flash banners though. |
GIF banners are a good replacement here & you can usually design anything you want to illustrate in flash anyways... not that I would spam here but gif banners are very cheap to pay someone to do if you don't have the skill yourself....
hehe, I love the flash banners... submit them all day long to hoes.com
:-) btw... those banners are converting extremely well in case you haven't tried them. marc |
