I hope everyone that celebrates it had a good Thanksgiving. The turkey we had came out beautiful :)

Today, our grandchildren arive for the weekend. And with the long weekend I supposed I really should start Christmas shopping :)

Yep, time to hit the malls and traffic....but not MEEEEEEE. I'm sittin' right here all day getting ready for oysters grilled on the half shell on the grill. Oysters Rockefeller and Oysters Casino and maybe something else I can come up with.

Fuck those malls and traffic :) I used to be one of those crazy people you see on the news this morning waiting in line for the Black Friday sales at 4AM. No more of that.

We've got snow that I think will stay now, not much but enough to make me feel holiday-ish (or maybe that's the Xmas muzak screaming from all the store's speakers now - and it's not even December |angry|)

I'm with you TPat - this is the first year our kids are old enough not to want all those stupid toys we used to get, it's sooooo nice not to have to go out shopping like that again! |bananna|

Had a very nice Turkey day with the roomie's family, went 3-0 with my pool picks, life is good. :)

I spent 15 years on the other side of the cash register. You could not pay me enough to go out and suffer that madness as a customer. I do have to go out today, but it will be mid-morning, and no malls. Just a stop at the drive-thru window at the bank then a quick stop at the grocery store a few blocks from there and back home.

No shopping for me today. Doing the gym thing and then just another exciting day of making the porn.

Today is a Nevada holiday so all the banks are closed. Saw "Hitman" (had one of the 2 'good' guys from Deadwood as Agent 47) and "this Christmas" which just reminded me why i do not do "family" over the holidays. The music was AWESOME tho.

Anyway .. have a SAFE black friday..some CRAZY ass people out there..

Thank Goddess there are Many who feel the same way, TPat. I've been packing shipments since 230am. I had 7 sales just yesterday and 5 the day before. hopefully MORE people will be comfortable shopping victoriously!! I feel kind of weird that this is the 1st year since coming back to Vegas that I haven't had a store. But I certainly do not miss the nasty bitchy people. GAWD for a holiday of peace joy and love, there are some bad attitudes out there.

Bluebrit and I are packing up and leaving for home today from Florida. We plan to take our time driving back so it might take us 3 days. Not sure if any of the hotels we will be stopping at will have high speed access so we might not be online for that time. Have a great weekend everyone. Darn we are gonna miss OTB.

I no longer fight the crazy people at the malls for Christmas shopping either. I can remember standing in line for hours one year and just about getting trampled trying to get a Cabbage Patch doll for my daughter |catfight| Don't miss that!

I'm all confused to what day it is today. After having a house full of people and watching football yesterday I'm thinking it's Monday |dizzy|
