Went kayaking yesterday for the first time. It was actually a lot of fun but I'm really sore from it today plus have a nasty blister on my right hand. There were huge iguanas all along the canals. For some odd reason I kept on wondering if they taste like chicken.

Oddly my CCBill check from two weeks ago arrived this weekend two days after last week's CCBill check. Starting with this week I'm switched over to wire transfers so no more wondering if the check is lost in the mail.

Just a day of work planned for today.

I forgot all about what day it was until I was buying a new vacuum cleaner to replace a dying one and got a 10% discount applied at checkout for "Cyber-Monday" along with free shipping.

Also got a referral from a friend to check out PetShed.com and saved 34% off the PetMeds.com price on a six-pack of Revolution.

Cleo - we have iguanas all over the place down here too. I'm on a canal so I see them most days. The first time one of my cats saw one, she thought it might taste like chicken too. At least until the 4-foot lizard raised its back ridge, expanded its dewlap, stood tall on four legs and snapped it tail like a whip--and changed the cat's opinion of their potential tastiness forever.

I met up with a couple who lost their lease from the Mandalay yesterday. So Now I have about 10K wholesale of beautiful hand made jewelry sitting behind me waiting for me to find the energy to take pictures of it. Most of it is amber BUT there are 2 beautiful druse (druzy) pieces that IF i had the $$ and the bosom to wear them, I'd keep.

Anyway.. other than that, it's payroll day and I'm not really prepared.

I think I need a 2nd cuppa.

Morning all. Great to be back to work. Had a great time at the Chargers game the other day as well as this being in LA/OC. Happy to be back to work because I really couldn't keep up with the pace I was partying at. hehe. Time to just hermit in the house and get some work done now. Hope everyone has a productive cyber monday. ;) Not today, but I really need to start getting the xmas shopping out of the way.

Out of coffee now so I've switched to the first other caffeinated product I saw...which is diet coke. (it will have to do.)
