Evel Knievel passes away

Yep, sad news indeed. He was an idol of mine when I was a young shit disturber, still is, he lived his life by his rules. RIP (ride in peace)

I can remember many days of watching Wide World of Sports to watch him jump. I remember like yesterday the big Snake River miss.

Definitely an icon of the 70s. RIP

Wow only 69 years old. Just would never have expected him to die quietly at home in his condo.

Watched a documentary about his life just the other day on TV.

Ride In Peace
As papgmp stated, built jumps for my bicycle as a kid only to become adult and use motorcycles. Not ramps but motocross until my last back injury which was when I started in this business 6 yrs ago. Those were good times. Racing with my son, ahh the memories.

Who else had one of his stunt cycle toys that they would wind up and make jump a hundred matchbox cars???

RIP Evel, another idol gone.

He was the greatest stunt man of all time. RIP man :(
