Snowing like a Bitch
 

The weather guys finally got it right. Local schools announced this morning that they would close at noon because of the coming snowfall with nothing happening at the time. But now, it's snowing a lot. I think we got at least an inch this past 1/2 hour. Damn, I can't even see across the street.

It looks like it may rain here and I have the A/C on.

we've got 3 inches since 7:30 this morning. They are saying 6-10 by this evening...

I love snow this time of year. We will be firing up the old 4 wheel drive sleigh tonight and go looking at Christmas lights. :)

We just started getting the snow about an hour ago. The big storm should come Sunday morning.

It snowed yesterday for a couple of minutes and it looked bad. Nothing in the news about any snowfall but it happened. It cleared up and the sun was out. Very strange.

We are supposed to get a couple of inches late this afternoon and overnight.. then I heard we are to get a really big storm on Sunday.

Geee it's sunny and warm over here. I think I'll go to the beach and have some lunch. I'll be thinkin of you guys . At least you guys get a white and snowy Christmas/Kwanzaa/Hanukkah

One year a week before Christmas a weather girl on tv said 100% chance of a white Christmas. It ended up being green. I wrote to her bitching that in weather there is never a 100% anything. She was off the air about 2 weeks after Christmas. :)

At least we just get hurricanes.

Here in lovely Dirty Panties on the Hudson we have only about 1 - 1.5 inches so far. The wife called about an hour ago asking me to check to see if the schools were closing early because it's coming down a lot harder where she is, which is south of here. It's not at all that bad here, but this place is in that 1-3 inch expected accumulation northern band of the storm.

Snowing here as well and a bit colder than lately at -7. My wife won't drive in the snow so I've got the car for a change :D
I don't really need a car, but I guess I'll use it to finish my Christmas shopping.

We have Rain.. while my lawn loves it.. the people here just are not equipped to drive in anything other than bright and sunny. PLUS there is terrible drainage here so there is flooding.

2 years ago in January (during AVN) we had 11 inches of rain in the month. I looks like a repeat this year.

Just done with the first round of snowblowing. Get this...as a favor, I snowblow our neighbors driveway as well. Ours is nicely paved and kind of easy. Theirs is gravel and a pain in the ass. And, these people may be 5 years older than me. While snowblowing today, the neighbor lady opens the door and tells Vickie who was shoveling, that the keys are in their car.

I may be a nice neighbor but WTF? The least they can do is move their own car. Needless to say, their driveway is still covered in snow.

I love looking at snow....on TV from down here in the south. :D Current weather in Mobile, AL is 77 F, 25 C, partly cloudy skies with a light breeze. T-shirts and shorts are the dress of the day. Now if everyone up nawth will suck in their breath real hard maybe all that cold shit will stay up there where it belongs. |jester|
