Well once again after I say good morning and Happy New Year. I got nothing :D

Up early and out for a bike ride. Easy to do since I didn't go out, didn't drink, and didn't stay up late. Fun guy here.

Found my big box of fireworks from years past, and got a candle and a big box of kitchen matches, and put them right by the couch around 11 pm last night. Which was exactly where they were at 1:15 am this morning when I woke up on the couch, having completely missed midnight. I guess the fireworks will have to wait until the 4th of July or something now.

Really enjoying the morning bike rides. And I've only gained a pound or two since I started them on the 20th of last month. I think the problem is I want a bigger breakfast when I get back.

Oh well, enough about me.

Wishing everyone a 2008 with conversion rates more like 1998.

P.S. For those who care, or maybe even remember how to strut, WGN has the Mummers Parade from 2-6pm (EST) today. Don't be fooled, it's not really all about the parade. For over 100 years, Philadelphia has had a tradition of the best 7-mile long daytime (drunken) block party on New Year's Day anywhere.

Got really stoned last night and went my ass to bed about 9. Got up at 4 and feel great, albeit a tad chilly as the yankee air is still invading Dixie.
Cooked sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, 3 pots of pecan praline coffee and 4 joints for breakfast and have cabbage, peas, pork and cornbread ready to ring the year's health , money , and luck in right.

Bad gas, nice get together, flat tire. That sums up my New Year's Eve.

Put a couple of cans of last year's generator fuel in my car, like I have been doing for the last month or so, and it must have had some water in it. Car freaked out for the first few miles so we thought of not going to the fire circle drumming but then we decided to go to West Palm after cruising around town for about a hour and the car running ok. Event was fun with about a hundred people there, lots of food, a fire dancer, everyone was very friendly. Driving back home something hit the left rear tire while we were driving on the freeway. Tire made a big bang and instantly lost all its air. My car has run-flats so we were able to drive home but had to keep it under 55 and run-flats are deafeningly noisy when running with no air in them not to mention the car flashing and beeping ever few minutes letting the driver know that a tire is flat so the one hour drive home kind of sucked. Tire place is closed today so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get the tire fixed or replaced.

Today is just going to be a day of work and cleaning house.

We went to bed at 9Pm last night. But, our children thought it a good idea to call us at midnight. :) Damn, I can't remember the last time I slept this late.

We got more snow so I will be snowblowing :)

I'm in no particular hurry to do anything today. I did manage to stay awake until 10:30pm.
Not planned for today except going to pick up the kids from the cabin. (back to school for them tomorrow)
Hockey and football I'm sure will keep me occupied most of the day.

Damn, reading a few of these post's makes me think we are all too fucking old to even be using the internet’s of tubes let alone to be working with it.

We watched football and drank Crown Royal and smoked a massive amount of weed and just chilled while we watched a 3 hour old Dick Clarke show since the west coast doesn’t seem to care about having its own New Year’s show so we got to watch repeats from the east.

Nothing but more football planned today and then back to work tomorrow.

2008 is already looking to be interesting...

Just got back from the annual family lunch/dinner.
I got home at 7:15Am this morning and had to get up at 12 so I didn't had much sleep. I think I won't be doing much today.
