Brrrr...It is really cold today. Somewhere in the single digits. :)
I have a doctor's appointment myself today. Something to do with dye and an xray.

I know it doesn't even sound like cold weather to some of you, but last night it dropped into the 40s outside. Which meant it was only in the 50s inside this house, which, like most houses down here, has no central or any other kind of heat. Had all the lights on to generate a little heat in each room, and the oven was on and loaded with the heaviest pots so they'd get warm and could be moved to other rooms.

Looks to be more of the same today. High maybe up to 60 and then down to 45 again tonight. Did I mention there's no heat in the houses down here?

Note to Sue: I did do my bike ride yesterday, a little after noon, and I'll do it again today once the sun gets all the way up there. Just with a LOT more clothes than I'd usually be wearing.

Jim: those tests are no fun as I remember, so best wishes for as good a day as you can have.

And wishing a good day to all (and a strange and twisted birthday to that jew-hater Mel Gibson).

Off to Buffalo in a few hours to watch my Senators play Greenguy's Buffalo Sabres tomorrow night. A few things to do before I leave. Enjoy your weekend all.

It is crisp outside. Everything makes cracking sounds when you walk. This place is too cold for human habitation. Of course, that's how I feel whenever it drops below 65 degrees.

I'm in a strangely pleasant mood this morning, but I haven't read much of the board yet. So that could change. ;)

Had to wake up at 5:30 this morning to go dig some holes in the ground. Finished work at 1 PM so I have the rest of the day to spend behind my desk :)
Oh wait, some neighbor overheard that I did "something with computers" so I have to go install a router and a virus scan later today. Stupid neighbors.

Good God It's Cold this morning.

I think all 23 degrees can kiss my ass today. The gulls are gonna starve if it doesn't warm up. Luckily for them and me both, it'll be back in the 70s Saturday.
Big breakfast for fuel followed by a few gallons of scalding caffeinated beverage with a tinge of pecan is on tap. After that, it's all indoor activity consisting of marijuana and computers. Oh yeah, Fuck Al Gore!

It's a windy and cold start of the day.It was below freezing in some of the inland cities and in the thirties along the coast here.

Saw Sweeney Todd yesterday. I don't really like musicals but this one is bloody entertaining... bloody as in gushing blood everywhere.

Other then an afternoon doctors appointment this afternoon just another day of the same old planned.

I'm all fucked up since no one bought me a daily calendar for my desk this Christmas. I keep looking over to see what the date is & instead see the bottom of my lamp :(

Like Ramster said, he's heading down today, so I've got a little prep work to do around the house & it seems silly to start working on any new projects on a Thursday :D

We had that weather the past two days. This morning it's a balmy 19F!
Actually the temps went from -13F at 9:00PM last night to 19F by 8:00am. Over a 30 swing in 11 hours - gotta love MN. |confused|

Simon - you got me thinking of getting a bike for the two weeks or so we call summer up here.
Oh, and I doubt they even have them down there, but check out Home Depot for an LP tank (gas grill tank) adapted Mr Heater. We have a 2 burner unit that last about a day of continued use on high if the power goes out here.

Hopefully my brakes are fixed today so I can truck on my Merry way.. if not i'll be "hoofing" it to pick up the laundry and the maybe to the Palms where I am sure I'll have to rest in front of a Slut Machine before schlepping home.

Hey all, Im headed outta here around 1pm for my 2nd mainstream project lined up, then its back to the grind..which I prefer. When I hve many projects going at once I get more done, only because my time is beter managed.

got down into low 30s last night, me and the wife slept in our living room last night, because we have no heat in our bedroom.
I have a free site to make today and a few updates to my linklist. Then i will be off to my other job for a nice 10 hour freezing cold night.

Damn cold here in Florida again today and I hate it |cry| I had to put the heat on last night I think we were in the low 30's |shocking|

Note back to Simon: I haven't bought my bike yet, trying to talk hubby into getting one too ( not working to well ) I think this weather would be great for bike riding!

Finally vacation is over and have to get back to work, SLLOOOOWLY.
I should be back to full speed by early next week, I am still on vacation mode.

alhoa. Been enjoying the awesome weather in Maui. :) Had good surf today and am going out to dinner with friends here for my bDay.
