hqseek.com submission error
 

When submitting to hqseek.com I get this error:

Error in submitting (databaze error). :-(
Please inform webmaster about this error miguel@hqseek.com

I've emailed miguel and haven't heard back...is anyone else getting this error in the last few days?

for some reason, I haven't been able to connect to that site at all for a while now, submit page, main page, nothing |huh

Thats strange that you say you cannot connect to hqseek for a while now Ponygirl... BlueBrit used to submit there religiously but since Dec 2nd we havent been able to connect to the site either. We called our provider to look into the problem. (but since they cannot look at porn, they couldnt tell us if they could connect or not) So far we have not found a solution.

Are you using Rogers? They told us they do NOT block any sites - what else could the reason be that 2 ppl from different areas in Canada cannot connect to the same site? We tried it at my mother's also and couldnt connect so we ruled out a problem on our computers. BluBrit has had a trouble ticket in with Rogers for a while now and even the "techs" cant figure it out.

We CAN connect via a Proxy so we know the site is "live"

Would it be possible that Miguel has Canada blocked? I doubt it but stranger things have happened lol

Any other Canadians out there that cannot get thru to hqseek?

Are you saying you can't even browse the site? If you can't browse the site, that's a different issue than what I'm talking about...I always heard and read hqseek had good traffic that's why I've been submitting...but oh well, I guess I'll have to take both of those sites off my list until I hear othewise...

nope, I can't even get the site up and yep, I'm on Rogers. I never thought to call them up and tell them I couldn't access porn sites hehe :D

actually, that's the only site I have problems with so I'm guessing he's got some geo blocking or something going on.

It seems PonyGirl and I have the same issue and you have a different one all together. At least you can access the website.

I think BlueBrit has tried to contact Miguel also to no avail :(

no sweat emerald... =) sometimes I have problems expressing myself and thought I might've been misleading or something...no big deal...however, to help the plot thicken and maybe add to the fact finding, I'm getting the same error on sexyseeker when I submit. can you find canadians pull up sexyseeker?

http://sexyseeker.com/ comes up fine for me ... Dont know about the submission page as I dont submit freesites here.

What Emmy said about hqseek is correct with regard to our asking rogers for help but there had been other sites we couldn't access as well. When we talked to them we said that there were a group of sites unavailable but that if we could access a porn site we should be able to get anything. We didn't just say we can't access porn :D

I had rogers run trace routes and pings to hqseek both on their system and using a remote link to my pc, both times they were ok, so as far as rogers were concerned this is nothing to do with them. I emailed Miguel asking if we had been blocked but had no reply so i had to give up on submitting, which was a shame.

well they must have fixed something, I can get the site up fine now and just submitted a site with no problems :)

Got a call from Rogers this evening saying they fixed the problem and closed the ticket... guess all of Bluebrits bitching helped!!! Only took a month to sort out but we can reach the website now too!

I get this message when I submit a site with an apostrophe in the title or description. Take it out and it goes through fine. Perhaps that might be it?

PHP doesn't like apostrophes. You have to do some special stuff to handle them.

Got exactly the same error today - email sent -

None of those little devils in my submit today - but I've been known to use them:D

I got the same error when I was trying to submit this description: "Sexy anime girls licking each other's clit and playing with their kittens" Then I changed it to "Sexy anime girls licking each others clit and playing with their kittens" and I got through. It really looks like the apostrophe is the problem.

FYI...I just submitted to hqseek.com and got the email miquel error again. The other site owned by this owner gave the same error...
