The Science of Toga Parties
 
Why can't I find a job doing this?|boobies|

Field work can be hell. But thanks to the dogged researchers who attended 66 college parties in Southern California, now at last it can revealed:
- Playing drinking games at a party leads to increased levels of alcohol in the bloodstream.

- One of the more interesting findings was that young women drank more heavily than males at themed events.

No Shit! You think. One of my former bosses told me what a toga party was when I was about 16. Same boss that told me how to get a chicken to do a line and how to play quarters even when you're already crunk.

I think women drink more at "themed events" because they feel like they have to out drink the men. Our society makes it sound like you have to be able to drink a lot to be socially accepted... but hangovers suck! |dizzy|

Maybe that's why I'm a smoker... no hangovers. |potleaf|

I used to live in Ocean City, MD. At my last Toga Party there I purchased 100 plastic Hawaiian Leis. Every woman got laid and we ran out before midnight.

A friend that worked at a local hotel chain stole 50 extra sheets. May people showed up claiming that they would wear a toga if they had one :)

Toga parties pretty much rock. I want a grant to go study this.

Hmm... was that "laid" or "leid"..?

Hell - at my last party everybody got laid and as far as I know, none of them were plastic.|jester|
