Damn, 67 degrees yesterday. I heard bikes going by all day and almost pulled mine out.

Our long week continues...

Morning Jim and everybody else. We have a high wind warning for today but that shouldn't bother us as we have no plans to go out.

Rogers fixed the servers so we can see hqseek again... only took them a month.

This weather is insane... although it is really warm here this morning the winds are at 90 clicks and we are expecting more rain then flooding then top that off with dropping temps and snow tomorrow.

Not a lot going on today other then more of the same old.. just trying to get used to being single again. Going to do the gym thing again today and then just another day of work and errands planned.

Lots of work to do today, with a bike ride sometime to break things up a little. Nice 68 F morning and should be 80 again later. Hoping not to have to do much besides what I already mentioned, but that was yesterday's plan too and that didn't work quite like I wanted it to.

At my one week post-op exam after hernia surgery I showed the Dr. some swelling where the hernia had been. He said it might be fluid that collects where the hernia used to be and wants to see me today, three weeks after surgery, and if the swelling is still there will drain it. That means a BIG needle and I'm sure some pain. If it hurts I'm gonna tell him "If you're going to hurt me the least you can do is kiss me". I hope he sees the humor...Other than that I don't think I'll do squat today.

Pouring out as I am typing this. Snow is almost gone. Feels like Spring here already.

Good Morning All :)

I never really know which I am, humper or humped. Right now, I'd say that I'm feel humped.

It is bizarrely warm and foggy for a January morning in Dirty Undies, NY. On the way to school, my son kept saying that it looked like we were inside a cloud. So I'd ask, "clown?" And he'd shout back, "CLOUD!" This happened several times before he gave up. For whatever sick reason, I feel great when I can piss off an eight year-old. I have to do these things now, because I know that this kid is going to be far more intelligent than me one day, and all I'll have to cling to are the memories of my small, albeit petty, victories.

It was really fucking windy here - started around 4 AM with thunder & lightning (very odd for Buffalo in January) My poor dog whimpered & then jumped up onto the bed. The weather continued until 6 or so, when I decided to get up because the dog rolled over between The Bitch & I are ended up taking my blanket with him |angry|

I think I'll start to pack today, as Vegas is just 2 wake-up's away |bananna|

Worked later than usual last night so I'm getting a late start this morning.
Wife wants to go play in the snow today (She's fifty and has never made a snow ball or walked in fresh snow). I can see the shit from my office window that's close enough for me.
Hope to get a new script dialed in today, for once I'm doing this step by step rather than just blindly jumping in.

Hey all, a quick hello as Im headed out to NY's capital for a foolow up for my mother after treatment last year for Uterian Cancer..shes in the clear, just a precautionary measure they need to do to make sure it stays away. So I'll be fighting the wind going up the Thruway.

Going to try and get some organzational things done when I get home as I wont have much time to do any real tasks, as Im starting on Pool League again this evening.

Good Morning.

Contractor is here putting in a bathroom and finishing off my basement with a drop ceiling and all. Plumber was by yesterday to dig up the floor to run the pipes etc and for some strange reason he unplugged my sump pump. Now there's water in the basement, thankfully only on the cement and tiles but still it's an inch of water. |banghead|

Another day -- another gadget. Yesterday was our seminar so thank goddess that's over. today we only have 4 meetings but 2 are at the Sands, 1 is at the Hilton and 1 at the LVCC. Good thing this is a geek show tho i saw some "fool" girls in heels.

Saw all the tricked out trucks and cars and a nice orange Harley. it would match that orange voodoo laptop that i want.

Saw a kinda kool looking tower that resembles a VW bus.

Ever see the move "1984"? This is exactly what I thought of when I turned the corner of the Sharp booth.
