Would you accept this gallery?
 

This is my first gallery page for a tgp. If anyone wants to give it a review i would appreciate it.

Hashbury - Im not real fond of the color Yellow on a gallery page like that. I just think it blairs obnoxious LOL The content isn't the best but I understand its the free content and youre really trying to get the surfer to UrentDVD. With that being said, there are a few things I see that you could work on that would free up at least 1 outgoing link as well as save you some bandwidth with extra code. For example, on your right side bar under the Skyscraper banner you have actually 3 outgoing links in that 3 line blurb of text. when you should only have one..if you leave it as is, it will fail based on too many outgoings.

I rewrote it for you, gets the same result, saves some bandwidth(minimal) and free up 2 more links which can be used on the top header banner and Id throw in another one line text link on the bottom of the gallery as well.

You could tweak all your HTML this way and save lines of code.

I'd list the gallery, it meets all of my rules.

That said I'm not too sure it would be very effective. It's pretty passive, just some pics and a few banners. That won't cut it these days. You need some sales text that compells the surfer to go visit that site tour NOW!

That was just the kind of feedback i was looking for.
Jester thanks for the rewrite. Your going to laugh at me when i tell you that the content is mine. I dont have a lot to spend on content so im scraping the bottom of the barrel right now. Is it better to have a graphic laden gallery or is better using simple tables and text. Im not really to worried about bandwidth, because i have my own server. As far as the text in the bottom right i couldnt get the damn tables to line up right. so i just kinda threw the text in there and somehow it lined up.

Your gallery looks kind of messed up in FireFox, that could get you rejected with the reviewers that use FireFox. Also use more appealing text like Toby mentioned.

Very plain looking gallery but for the most part it look sto pass all the rules. Some people will not list that gallery though if they get a lot of submits and need to weed some out because it is very plain.

As Toby said sales text is needed. Keep the header banner and add sales text between each row of thumbs. Then on the bottom have a BIG TEXT link to the site tour saying something that will make them click.

I think this one should be fine. The only thing ive noticed after working on it for an hour is the colors kind of stick out to much. But just let me know what u think.

Better, but this one has a bit too much text, surfers will just scan right past those paragraphs. I'd replace each with a single well worded sentence that makes a specific point. Your job is to get the surfer to click through to the site to find out more.

Also, your bottom linked text is still completely passive. No sense of urgency to go visit the site NOW! How 'bout this:

I like that one better for sure Hashbury...you do have 1 link available to use as well..most TGP sites alow for 3

Actually, most TGP scripts count total external links on the page, including recips, etc.

Some allow as few as 6 total, but the average is 8 to 10. You have to keep this in mind when grouping recips. Some recips have two links, and putting two or more on the same gallery can exceed the link count limits.

Good info Toby. I try and limit my recips on teh top to 3 TGP sites. And I try and use one link when possible, and 3 sponsor links (usually)
