Looking for tried and true ways to increase blog traffic, things you have tried that work / don't work, and success stories about your blogs.

Write real post every day
submit your blogs to directories
submit your blogs to link dumps
use social networking sites and bump your own links
youtube
pornotube
-wait, it's going to take 6 months just to get out of googles sandbox

Write good posts, trade links and seo.

just build a userfriendly site... as mentioned above, good posts, trade links with sites you like and so on...

write real posts that facinate bookmarkers and niche fetishists
do a bit of recips now and then but dont overdo it

just submit your blogs to blog directories with PING feature

Most directories do not have a ping feature. Would be nice if they all did.

but yeh like ronnie said, make posts on a daily basis, or make cronjobs.
make good posts, use good blogpost titles.. and make sure your site is user friendly..

I just submit in social networking, social bookmarking, blog directories, and sometimes, in forums. :D
