It's some sort of shitty domain parking page, but it's all links to software cracks, warez, hacking and such. Who the fuck owns WarningPages?

Is it time to create a rule against the use of them yet? I've been VERY patient with my submitters who use WarningPages as an exit link, but I'm currently rejecting their sites as long as they're promoting cracks and warez.

Dunno about you, but at my end craks.com is filled with links to flowers, dating, cars and such. No 1337 h4x0r stuff here ... :)

I am getting warez and other such stuff.

And I get the whole caboodle - music, jobs, cars, xxx, flowers, and those warez.

i quit letting my submitters slide using warnings pages as an exit link a long time ago, seasoned submitters should know better

I stopped using WP after the first month I had them and only used them on 1 FS. As far as I know they are dead..I think it was pushed to get traffic to it and now its all bullshit. I stopped using them, they can keep my 31 cents :)

Can anyone suggest an alternative which will make submitters a little money?

Do you have a non porn site which is either:

Of interest to anyone who may get diverted (i.e. they hit the exit key) 'cos there's something they can buy there? or

Carries Google Adsense or similar of stuff they may want to visit?

I use T-Shirt Hell as well as All Posters as alternatives for exit traffic.

I just declined a site for using Warning Pages. First time I've done that but what the hell? That link redirects so it breaks the rules. Personally, I never could understand why anyone uses exit links on a free site. I mean, come on - is that 30 cents you might make every month work a traffic leak? I feel that a warning statement is sufficient to let a surfer know they're on a porn site. Just my 2cents (even though no one asked me). :D

Yep. Use the 3rd link to send to the main porn sponsor your freesite is promoting. If you have a mainstream site, then *possibly* link to that/those to create inbound anchors (exit to {link}anchor text{/link}. Using the 3rd link to send to warningpages/tshirthell/etc is a waste of prime ad space. Why anyone would put an exit link to google/yahoo baffles me even more.

I just started using them a few months back. All I ever get taken to are ringtone sites and other misc sites, never anything warez. I already have a bunch of sites made but not yet submitted with them on them, but if they are doing that shit then I'll stop building new stuff with them as the exit link.

I think they are just sending traffic to their feed providers.

Im gonna have to pull them from SmutGremlins also since I have spoken to Rick Latona on numerous occasions when they have done some stupid things and each time things get solved he comes up with another stupid idea of where to redirect :(

Only time I use an exit link is when I want to create links to one of my own mainstream projects and I don't care if it has incoming links from the adult world.

Ok time to pull the links it seems. I have them on old FS so if thats a problem to people let me know and i'll go in and pull those links too.

Now it looks like they've locked people out of the admin section and the traffic is being directed to some other program.

I tried to contact them and I am still waiting on an email back......
