For those that list blogs...
 

...is it the actually blog thats listed or the individual blog post?

the main index of the blog, not individual post

I've been doing them both ways. Just depends on what gets submitted.

Usually just the index page on my LL

OK ..and one more question..does anyone accept blogs that are on free services..like thumblogger? or is it best to only accept those that are domain hosted

I don't list any type of sites on free host of any kind.

Most of the directories that list free hosted sites are twans directories and he runs some of those free services as well, so he's just increasing his own traffic regardless.

Yup - the main blog URL - domain or sub-domain www.blog.com or blog.blog.com

I too, prefer not to list and sites on free hosts.

I do list my blogs in the appropriate cat for the blog and not on a "catch-all" blog page.

Any particular reason for that? I was just asking down in the blog section...I want to start accepting blogs, but can't decide the best way to present. I had though about a catch-all blog page until I get 100 or so in the database, then put them in the categories....Any tips or advice?

I don't think people looking for free porn galleries or freesites want to spend time reading blogs.

if someone likes the format of a blog they will hit the blog category. why confuse people?
