What's Up With Thunder-Ball.net?

I signed up with this link exchange management site several years ago and got a few link exchange requests but lately I'm getting one almost every day. What's up with that? Anyone use Thunder-Ball?

I use it. I get 0-8 requests a day. There are some thumblogger or 2 min sites, but there are also many good sites to trade with. I do wish they wouldn't send me an email every time I get a request though. One a day would be fine. Overall, a good free service to keep track of hard link trades and it's still being developed. More people are using it so more requests are bound to happen. Put me on your friends list: http://www.thunder-ball.net/TradeGat...fm?PAID=127604
I just added a bunch of brand new domains.

I like Thunder-Ball very much. I have a couple of good trades every week.

I am getting a lot of requests from bloggers

Yeah thats the only thing thats bothering me. They should make a category for them. Also for link lists and TGP's.

I use it as well, and get also alot of request from blogs. A category for blogs seems like a good idea!

I used to use it -- but I got so many crappy requests I was spending substanital time every day just checking and deleting them.

Wish there was some kind of way to have filtering so you only got requests from people who vaguely had something to trade.

Also the PR-emphasis, both in the system and in those who seem to use it, is rather outdated these days don't you think?

that was pretty useful site till it got it's version 1.1 ... now it seams it's used mainly for spam but the old links are still good and people do keep them. As few already mantion around 20 request per day but only from 3 people ... too much

I've been using it for the past two days, but will probably just stick with trading with board members. The service itself isn't bad (once you get the hang of it), but the heavy reliance on pushing PR and the amount of old, never-updated blogs on free hosts, dressed in shitty free themes and filled with text content pulled straight from sponsor tours hurts it. And there seems to be a lot of that there.
