The Computer Doctor fixed my sick puter and installed a new graphics card for me, I'm finale running two monitors and can already tell I'll never be happy with a single monitor setup again

I woke up around 4.30 am. Not with that nice slow waking up sort of feeling, oh no.
It was a case of BANG wide awake |shocking| and I was thinking wtf is this all about??

Anyway, I know I have no chance of dropping off again, so its a very early start for me.

i got stuck with 2 sick kids, the oldest one has a migraine (she dont bug me because she is still sleeping) the youngest has a huge cold, pain in his ear and a nasty cough (or however you write that)....and he bugs me like hell, i believe i have already heard the word "MOMMMMMMMMMM" about a 100 times|cry|. so i have a little...well big problem to get concentrated on my network!

I finally moved the desk into the new room, and today I will finally get to hook up my computer back up. I still have some furniture to move around but I hope to be done by tomorrow. It is going to be so nice to have an office again. I hope to be done with all this by Sunday and get back on schedule, my to do list is growing and my submissions are way behind. :(

What a delightful day down in Dixie! 75 degrees and tons of sun on the way as soon as it creeps over the horizon fully. Sausage, eggs, biscuits, gravy, grits, coffee, and weed is cooking in the kitchen and the gulls have a great breakfast packed for a later than usual trip to the beach.

Smokin the Sound starts today, so this weekend is filled already. Gotta love 100+ mph boats screaming across the water.

Got great news yesterday too. The fucking crackhead that murdered my buddy in 2003 finally got sentenced to life in prison although he shoulda gotten the needle or a ball peen hammer to the head instead. What the hell inspires one to stab somebody 40 times? Goddamn crackheads!

I've had BSG running in the background all week, Cleo. Usually it's CNN but I'm so tired of elections and politics news that I started with the marathon on Monday and it's been on every day since. Looking forward to what they have today and the start of the new season tonight. I hadn't really watched the show for years and it's been nice to see the quality they've put into this.

Been up for a couple of hours, putting the finishing touches on a complete redesign at Well Heeled Women. I think it's some of my best work to date, but then I'm a bit biased. ;) Just a few more archive page templates to update yet.

A personal request. After the episodes air NO SPOILERS PLEASE without a warning. I missed the last half of season 3, and have ordered it on DVD (should arrive Mon). Until I get caught up I'll be recording the new eps on DVR. Thank-you. :)

No much planned today.. think we are going to watch a couple of movies .. Netflix sent us Angelheart (RugDawg's hero is Micky Rourke) and we bought a couple of others that I'm really not remembering the names of on only 1 cuppa java.

I might try to do some office reorganization.. maybe find some checks hiding around. But probably not.

My friend up the street is a new grandma to a baby girl also. We are going to take the babies and my grandson for a walk to the park. Good Morning all. Couldn't sleep for shit last night, and like you Blue Brit, I woke up way to early just |shocking| and couldn't fall back asleep. I'm hoping for a nap. Was worried yesterday I was getting that cold for the 4th time, but feeling a bit better today, so hoping it is just allergies.

TPat, isn't 2 monitors heaven? I've had 2 for a few years and no way I could do this with one. I'm a bit ADD, so I always have several things going on at once anyways and this just makes it easier. :D

stuveltje Being the product of ear infections my parents didn't get treated and my eardrum ruptured so many times that now I'm somewhat deaf in my right ear, I suggest a Doctor for your son. Or if not that, give him decongestents to try and get his ears unplugged (will help the pain) and help keep his ears from getting infected or rupturing.

I suggest NOT pouring something warm in there, because if his eardrum has already ruptured, that is a great way to have a huge infection. (ask me how I know this one, thanks mom for pouring olive oil in my ears)

his eardrum is not ruptered, if that was the case then i should have known (my daughther had it 2 times, even i know that it was a releave for her it happened) and i know when that happens i need to go to the dock for antibiotics, i have meds for pain in his ear, you can just buy them here, no dock needed, i noticed that my son has a nose filled with snotty stuff, so i asked him to blow his nose all the time and to use nosal spray, this will make the pressure in his ear go away, although i am not happy that my son has the sick urge to show me all the time what he blowed out of his nose|shocking|, being a mom is a tough job, but as long he yells the word "mommmm" around all day i know its all fine and he will manage:D i nag now that he is using the word, but it shos he is oke, i would be worried if he didnt bug me:D but thanks for the tips also:))))

Bluebrit, I have that happen a lot. If I can't get back to sleep in 10 minutes, I'm up for the rest of the day. Catches up to you eventually though and you end up with 8 hours of sleep one night which throws off your whole schedule.

Back to the grind. Looks like it'll be a nice weekend to get some more work done. :)
