I was thinking about adding a topsite list to one of my domains. But i am wondering what the Pro's and Con's are to having one .Any Coments on this would be helpful :) thanks

The pro is that you get other sites trying to make your list. The con is that you get other sites trying to make your list :D

I watch mine very carefully. There is an option to update it manually, but I like to do it by hand so that I can verify all the sites on there.

There's a lot of scumbags that will blind link the shit out of you so that they're on your list - be careful :)

Are you referring to an old style toplist - the standalone type - or a list of your top referrers on an existing page? Big difference - although what GG said probably applies to both about blindlinkers, the standalone toplist site can be very good for targetting, but the problem is finding people that still run these to link with.

Well after doing some reading and taking into consideration the info i have decides againt doing a toplist And yea linkster it was gonna be the old standalone.

Sorta related, does anyone know any good standalone toplists that don't list all of those illegal sounding titles leading to CJ's?
If there was a good one that didn't allow that shit I'd be interested.
Cleo has a good one, and I'm on it, but I could add a few more.

I know D Dave has a few over at http://www.dangerdave.com.au/top100s/ and Im pretty sure there are still quite a few listed at some of the older niche oriented LLs out there - Ill take a look around later today to see if they are still active and get back here
