It looks fine to me. :)

The only thing you might get shit about is the size of the header with the info & stats. Other then that, it does look nice to me.

The multiple links at the bottom will get it canned by a fair number of scripts. And there is no crystal clear selling link anywhere. You're missing out on the selling power of text.

It has kind of a cold template look about it. And your thumbs are a bit blurrier than they should ideally be.

But it's not bad, you might make sales. The SMS gimmick is interesting.

Bill pretty much sums it up, especially with the links (even if they are clean) on the lower left of the page, for instance I know that my site Dirty Daughter wouldnt let the gallery through because of too many outside links (even though it's a nice clean galelry), thats one issue in todays world is that scripts are judging everything.

It's actually our site so I'm not trying to upsell anyone else.

I don't understand why the bottom links will get rejected ? how should I change 'em ?

here's an update btw ... http://www.homehotties.com/tgp/bichi...bichick_c.html

TIA,

David

Should I change 'em all to just one link say to the home page ?

Yes, turn the 7 or 8 links to individual girls pages you have at the bottom to one link to your index or some other selling page.

On average the best TGPs allow 1 or 2 links out off the page per every 5 pics. And scripts count the links, so it doesn't matter where the links are going. So you learn to concentrate your prime sales links in two to three spots per gallery.

I assumed you were being you own sponsor. That doesn't change anything I said. If anything, you have to sell harder when you are your own sponsor, because you have no brand recognition when you start out.

I can see half a dozen ways to improve that gallery, and I'm not looking hard.

Very few allow "Home" links on a gallery page. That has to go. Same with support, there's no need for it.

What's the purpose of a gallery page? I'll tell you. To get the surfer to the site you are trying to sell so you don't need links to other pages like support.

If you submit that to TGPs with their recip, when a reviewer opens it they are going to see that big header and decline it IMO. So lower that. The thumbs on the bottom might be considered blind links too so unlink them and add some nice big text above and below selling the site. And put the privacy disclaimer at the very bottom away from the "selling" area of the gallery.

It's a good looking gallery.
Unfortuanately there are alot of reasons it will get rejected by TGPs.

Looking specifically at this version.
http://www.homehotties.com/tgp/bichi...bichick_c.html

As ExtremeJohn mentioned many of the TGP scripts used, check the galleries for varius things. Brownie is notrorious for this.

One thing brownie is often set to check for is filesize for the fullsize images. While your images linked from the thumbs are good. You larger screensavers are too large and will get you rejected from some TGPs.

Another thing brownie checks is the number of outgoing links. Many TGP owners have this set to maximum allowed of 6. You currently have 5 outgoing links. Once you add 3 recips at the top you'll bring that number up to 8.

If your gallery makes into a reviewer submission queue there are several more items that will cause a reviewer to reject the page.

1 On my computer set at 800x600 I get a scroll bar. The page is just a bit too wide.

2 As mentioned your header is too tall without recips on a monitor set a 800x600 none of the thumbs are visible without scroll. Once you add a recip table you'll have the same situation at 1072x768. Essentially you have a FPA.

3 As mentioned the links to support and home are frowned upon and not nessary.

4 The banner in the lower left corner looks too much like thumbnailsl. This will get you rejected quickly.

5 You only have 14 thumbs many TGPs now require a minimum of 15 thumbs.

6 A picky reviewer might consider the screeshot picture of the screensavers to be a unlinked thumb.

My advice would be to reduce the size of the header. Plus revmove the extraneous links to home and support and revome the links to the screensavers. Leave those on your main page where they belong.

Looks good the small thumb banner could be a killer at some places :(

Sounds like neo-gel knows something about gallerys.

A good critique. Covers a lot of the issues.

If you are trying to make SMS sales an even narrower profile might be better.

None of us are saying it's bad, it's just nowhere near as good as you want it to be.

Guy's,

Thank you one and all, today I will try a new design of the gallery taking in all the great advice.

Regards,

David

Thanks Bill.

Synapse,

One thing I should point out is that the reviewer are people. Most will make exceptions for galleries that have good conttent and an interresting. Both of which describe your gallery.
