addthis_social_widget_drop help
I want to place the "addthis_social_widget_drop.php" plug inside a div.
It places a Bookmark button on every post so surfers can add the post to their social bookmarks. The problem is that I want to place it at the end of the post in its own div, and I am not sure how to do it. I think I need to edit the Main Index Template and add the div at the end of post, but how do I call the plug in? I hope someone can help, and that this is not too confusing. |

I know where I want to place it, but how do I call the plug in?
ex: I think the php call to the plug in goes here. this is what I need. |
I think you may be approcahing this from the wrong direction. I used the plug-in for a while, but I seem to remember it being activated & managed from the Wordpress admin area.
Put addthis_social_widget_drop.php in wp-content/plugins/ and you should be able to activate it and manage it. If you want to modify what the plugin outputs then you'll need to fiddle with addthis_social_widget_drop.php - probably the $badge variable. |

Personally, I've dropped the social bookmark buttons from my blog altogether. Most of the services offer a toolbar and I've never seen an affect on my traffic stats one way or the other making it just one less plug-in I have to process. |
Thanks Jeremy and walrus, since I am no good with php I think I will just forget about it.

Actually I wrote a post about this on my blog:
