I Frames
I dont like talking about what happens behind the scenes but
for years now My spider has been removing links that have any frame tags but lately its getting to be like 50 a day I know 99.999999% these are innocent fling and other ads but I am wondering if everyone else is letting this slide ?? for the submitters.... right now you are wasting your time submitting stuff with frames. your link is gonna be removed within a couple of hours Just to be clear I never black listed a webmaster for this. its not a major offense and it was never posted in the rules so .... |
I think it is a good idea to still pull links like that. You never know what someone is putting on the pages. Of course it all depends on how many partners you have and how much you trust them. I'm sure you have a lot of accounts for people you don't know personally so it's better to be safe.

It's still kind of curious that the number is increasing.
iframes have always been frowned on in galleries and sites for as long as I can remember. They were a favorite way to inject exploits. I wonder if there is a trend to lift that rejection reason? |
well the number is increasing cause a lot of sponors have pretty cool iframe ads ... adult friend finder and fling has the ip ones, juggs cash has some really cool stuff also
i like iframes however i alway got in trouble for using them on gals and freesites... I only use them on my own domains
I don't accept free sites that use iframes. However, I do use them on my own link lists and hubs. It's too easy for cheaters to make changes and cause trouble if you let them use iframs on submitted sites.
I myself dont us ethem on galleries and once I didnt get accepted using one on a FS I stopped as well.
I don't know why but I never liked iframes. :)
I never submitted any galleries with script or iframes, most tgp owners dislike it. If they like it, they can still use trusted sponsor FHGs boosted by iframes ...
Sponsors should be encouraged to remove them altogether from promo tools.
Well, a lot of affiliate programs offers ads in iframes, and normally i think iframes is a bad idea. However, ads for camsites which needs to update on the fly to show the current online cam hosts and alike ads need to use iframes. I don't have a problem with people using iframes on there sites, as long as it's not hidden iframes with bad purpose, but i don't think there is a lot of people using iframes badly...anyway, thats my experience.
