Do You Consider These Blind Links?
 

I know blind links have been covered extensively, but would like your feedback on the following link text.

"Continue Tour"
"Join Now"
"Get Instant Access"

Do you consider these blind links? |huh

I personally don't think the last two are blind links, as they suggest spending some money or at least some kind of sign up is necessary. Yes, even if the paysite name isn't part of the text.

'continue here' and 'continue tour' I never really liked, I think of the paysite's front end as the tour, not the freesite. But it may depend on the context too, what words are used with them. I really hate seeing a big huge 'continue tour' at the bottom of a freesite page.

But that's just my opinion :)

Nope, all of those are fine with me. "Continue tour" may be a tad iffy, but "tour" is one of those magic words that to me suggests I'm being taken to a paysite. "Continue" by itself is a no-no, but I'd let this slide.

I dont like continue tour under a pic gallery cause it gives the impression there are more pictures or movies from the same series

so it's iffy, the other two words are obviously ok

Without context it is impossible to tell.. but as stand alone links ALL of them are Blind.

I agree - but I'd list them if they were the text under an sponsor banner or part of the text on the sponsor banner.

Bottom line, when looking at the page, would the surfer reasonable believe that he/she/it was moving to the next page of the FS or to the sponsor's site. If it were the first, I'd decline it for being blind, in the second case, I'd approve the site.

Like DDave sid, they are all blind without context, but I have to assume they are from a paysite tour, seeing as "Continue Tour" is one of them.

I get it. Join what? Yeah, as stand alone without other text I can see that.

I try so hard to get listed everywhere I submit so as to not waste the linklist owners time and mine.
I will go through your site and check all the linkage to see what i am doing wrong.
