gals or big thumbs?

Hey
What is your experince that are working the best on blogs, when writing a lot of text, and then inserting a big thumbs that link to the paysite or to a gallery?

When writing a blog, descriptive text is a must to order to get seach engine (SE) traffic. That will be your primary source for traffic -- at least initially. Surfers will come from SEs looking for particular pornstars. I find that having a gallery about a specific star works best rather than pic to a general tour. Mind you, I always have a link to the site tour but that is not the focus of my post.

yes thank you.. but if all that is done and I am thinking about sales not traffic, what works better linking my thumbs to a gallery with the right content that just described or to the paysite of its origin, for sales not traffic

The gallery, IMHO.

If you've got a big thumb...or even a little one, I think linking it to a gallery is the best way to go unless the sponsor offers pages about the model your using. Then I link to the model specific page on the sponsors site.

I think it's expected, by the surfer, that they are going to get something more that is relative to the picture they just saw when they click on it.

But I always add text links to my sponsors tour as well. I personally like to do it at the end of the text where I can take what ever I've been blogging about and seqway directly to the sponsors link. Hopefully if the picture didn't hook'em the text did.

Also, I don't look at sales and traffic as being mutually exclusive. If I treat my surfer well (traffic) and cater to his needs, provide entertainment and in general do anything I can to gain his trust, then sales will naturally fall from the relationship I have taken the time to build with my traffic.

Who would you rather buy from a slick salesman with a great sales pitch or someone you feel you know and trust?
