Comedian George Carlin Dead at Age 71
A publicist for George Carlin says the legendary comedian has died of heart failure at a hospital in Santa Monica, Calif.
Jeff Abraham says Carlin went into St. John's Health Center on Sunday afternoon, complaining of chest pain. Carlin died at 5:55 p.m. PDT. He was 71. _______________ So few real ones left. RIP. |
In his honor I would like to say Seven words....
Shit, Piss, Fuck, Cunt, Cocksucker, Motherfucker and Tits! RIP George! |
Awwww Fuck
All of my heroes are dying lately. George just played the Rose Theatre in Brampton a couple of months ago. That really sucks. R.I.P. George, you made me laugh a lot. |
Jesus, didn't have several heart attacks and a few bypass sugeries? I just had this feeling he wasn't long for this earth.
|
One of the great ones has gone. His humor is great, and his philosophy and politics are just as great.
|
Oh fuck :(
|
RIP George

Quote:
"Richard Pryor had a heart attack; I had a heart attack. Richard Pryor went into rehab; I went into rehab. Richard Pryor set himself on fire...I decided to have a second heart attack." *** I TiVo'd his most recent HBO special back in March & just recently started to watch it, usually 15-20 min each night before I fell asleep. I watched a little last night & I have about 15 minutes left - I think it's gonna be hard to watch those last 15 minutes. My step-son Glenn loved Carlin & now they share a shitty anniversary :( |
I liked George Carlin and I often put his sayings in my sig and the quote below my avatar. RIP GC.

He was a comic genious, his views on politics, society and the ways of the world were easily brought into his routine..as with most things reality is the funniest shit of all.
RIP Carlin...Loves him as the Bishop in Dogma |
Now that is a great one gone.
RIP George and thanks for all the great laughs |thumb |
He has made me laugh for nearly 30 years...RIP
|
I remember seeing him for the fist time on The Tonight Show about 1970 or so, and hosting New Year's Rockin' Eve 1974.
He was a great one! |
Oh Fuck!! the sad part for me is that last weekend he was at the Orleans which is like 3 blocks from me. Spud wanted to go see a movie i didn't want to see, so i said..maybe i'll go see Carlin while you are at the movies.
didn't happen..and now I'm kicking my own ass. One of the endearing things about him was he could go from the conductor on Thomas the Tank, to the Hippy Dippy Weatherman to the 7 words without even a blink. Forecast for tonight is DARK. |greenguy| maybe they were channeling each other. |
He will be sadly missed
|
Thats sucks . Some of the best stuff comes from him :(
