Embarassing as it feels, we would like to ask for any opinions or reviews of our first spanking fetish FS.

I personally like the site, but i dont think its a typical freesite.
http://freepornpicturez.com/freesite...nettefuck6589/
http://freepornpicturez.com/freesite...deoncouch6600/
these are a few examples of basic free sites warning->main->gallerys
I use the main domain page for a hub of all the freesite i make. The site you made does go by my rules so i would accept it.

annie_cash 2008-06-26 02:36 PM

I have connection issues when trying to access your site

Surfacing0325 2008-06-26 02:41 PM

Wow I haven't seen that GG recip in a while.

Anyway as far as the freesite goes... its so unorthodox that I cant help but like it.

Only thing I see is just what Hashbury has already said, if you put one freesite up per domain your gonna be up to your eyebrows in domains.

HappySpanker 2008-06-26 04:02 PM

Thanks Hashbury (love your handle's namesake), we know it does not match "the formula" on a few points. Guess its sacreligious to say, just that I've never liked the formula sites and wanted to divert. I expect to get hand slapped along the way (smile).

Aniie, sorry you had troubles. I think our DNS server was blocking some regional requests and that has been cleared. Sure hope you might be willing to try again...

Surfacing - thank you. We just figured to use a domain-based free site as our first. Gives us something to setup sponsor accounts from, learn to submit decently, and generally figure out what we -should- be doing as we go. Have an easy 20 other domains in the pocket and just picked one in the niche that we would not try a paysite on. Kinda like a sacrificial newbie lamb... heh...

And I'm hoping that GG will permit the use of the old logo. Just loved seeing that puppy for years and wanted to see it on the site (smile).

Then again, if we don't make it on link-o-rama my newbie feelings might be crushed, surely leading to premature insanity and closet masturbation past the hairy-palm stage.

annie_cash 2008-06-27 01:44 AM

its working now :)

SheepGuy 2008-06-27 03:10 AM

I like it, but hey, I believe in the message :D
I'd list it.

Star Man 2008-06-28 10:21 AM

Thats a SICK looking site dude!|thumb It has a real '70's dirty book store' feel to it!(I should know,I worked at one for 5 years.)

A few things though. You might want to create a hub of sorts to build and store your free sites.Buying a domain for a single free site is just nuts. The thing is,free sites aren't really 'free websites' per say.there basicly a series of smaller sites on a single domain. For example my hub Dickheadshit.com is the actual domain and I built a bunch of smaller ' mini sites' in a single directory like this.Just knock of the 'clean.html' off each URL to see the recip version that I submit to link lists.

My hub is a little complicated but you can just point all your 'mini sites' to the index page especially since your building for a single niche. The thing is,free sites are a dime a dozen and your going to want to built a bunch of them to generate traffic to your paysite or whatever your promoting.Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for the opinions Star Man (and love your page design). You can be sure that this was not intended as a 1-off, eggs in one basket site. We aim to launch 2 pay sites but not before we better 'learn the ropes' and get basic accounts open and active. We have a few other domains we will be using in the spoke & hub logic. So we picked one 'expendable' domain name in our niche. Kinda like wanting to take a small boat out on a lake before just assuming we can blast out of the harbor on a new 40-foot motor cruiser and not drown... heh...

Hope to have the initial pay site done in the next month and 5-10 new free sites & blogs generated by then as well. Maybe then I will be able to afford a designer so we don't start looking like a 70's retro movement... heh...

Whats funny is that none of what we saw as weaknesses on that site were commented on here or from other folks who've reviewed it. Among them I honestly expected people to pee down my neck from using vid caps as stills. Then again, I've this feeling of warm urine coming from somewhere. Prolly from Google, who has hit the site with 3 scans but still not added it to their indexes, even with a sitemap submitted, etc.

When I click on "women spanking men" banner I've got weird message that this is Reported Attack Site!
Quote"This web site at www.women-spanking-men.com has been reported as an attack site and has been blocked based on your security preferences."

You promoting sponsor with exploits or something like it.There is a google report.

By the way nice design |thumb

Xallow 2008-06-29 01:54 PM

I would call that site a hub, it looks really nice, but it isn't really a freesite I would say...

Mind You, I have been away from the biz for about a year and actually just started doing a little work again today, so You might not want to listen to what I have to say.

But a freesite is generally not in the root of your domain, as You can have and submit 1000's of freesites from the same domain.

Look here: http://www.pornlinkworld.com

That is my hub or some might call it a fake linklist, and on it I list all the freesites I make.

Best of luck to You

Thanks for the opinion Xallow... every perspective given here has offered great advice

Sounds like a Firefox blocking. They recently implemented some logic-flawed blacklistings and even some vanilla ecommerce sites I manage have been blocked for zero reason.

FWIW, the sponsor is quite legit and well established. They (realspankingsnetwork.com) operate a series of popular spanking sites with unique quality content. No negative issue I have heard relating to them has challenged their honesty or technical competance, so I have to assume this might be another Firefox/Opera fuck up. But I sure appreciate the link and will contact them for an answer.

I looked at their source and the -only- thing there which is not generic HTML is a silly Urchin tracking java snipplet; used on hundreds of thousands of pages on the net. It prolly writes a cookie which FireFox extrapolates to being a threat.

Just wait till the new IE 8 is released. It will have the same new "feature" of using static blacklists to give the surfer all manner of unjustified warm fuzzies.

While I agree that google's safebrowsing is somewhat aggressive in what they have pinned as a dangerous site, the suspect IP is relatively well known for a number of iframe/xss exploits and codec installers. One of the top links in women-spanking-men's autorank pro toplist goes to a codec installer linked back to 85.255.118.0, the Russian Business Network.

So, as ominous as the warning seems to be, you are one click away from the RBN's codec installer when surfing http://www.women-spanking-men.com/. That is enough for google and the related companies that license that data to redflag the site.

Safebrowsing also claims to email warnings to several email addresses -- I have not seen evidence that they have done that in many of the cases I've tracked. One client's wordpress site had hidden text injected which linked to another RBN site. Once it was cleaned off his site, it took about 24 hours for google to remove it (and about 3 hours for firefox to clear it).

I think that's fast enough for SE and app to update site status

HappySpanker 2008-06-29 04:04 PM

Thank you CD. I was only about 1/2 way into my understanding and stopped to remove the links until things are resolved.

Your response was very educational and appreciated.
