They have been building this bridge by us for quite some time now, and it just sank 6" last week, so when they got to finish the bridge it wont connect right.

They just pushed the opening back from April to atleast July.

The new rumor is they will have to blow the thing up in order to start all over again, at the contractors expense, oh and the traffics expense that deals with the shit everyday.

You ought to see the mess up here in North West Florida with the I-10 contruction. I think they dont have a plan the just build llike those little characters in Fraggle Rock!

they fucked up a huge section of that bridge last year, right about this time if i recall correct and had to blow it up. i wonder when the city of Clearwater will get a clue and give the contract to another comstrution company?

Traffic? I have lived down here for going on 3 months now and I haven't noticed any traffic. No worse than the small town in oHIo I moved here from.
In case I am being too subtle here........traffic in Florida bites the big hairy sweaty I swear to god. What should take 5 minutes to drive somewhere will, on average, take you 2 weeks
And the people are so courteous and friendly too!!!

Traffic sucks down here. I know a lot of the backstreet shortcuts since I grew up here, but many have been closed in an effort to keep traffic out of neighborhoods and non of them do you any good if you need to cross over water and water is everywhere here.

Yeah things have a nasty habit of sinking into the ground here especially in central Florida, LOL

Yup Chris you got it, same bridge, new problem, they actually talked to the "expert" that did the Sunshine Skyway, and he told them flat out, someone fucked up pooring the concrete, and there is no fixing that without starting over.

Good times, another shitty summer driving in that direction.

Yeah Spaz your right, traffic here blows, ive actually come to the conclusion, that based on my past experiences (living in NY most of my Life, than Mich. for a little while), that Florida simply has no clue on how to do construction, every road here is fucked up and just getting worse, I have YET to see one god damn improvment in the 4 years I ahve lived here, throw some fucking Canadians and Snow Birds in the mix and the place is a damn nightmare.

I thought this was going to be another thread about Catsup on bread, you call Pizza.

I've been here exactly three months as well, and I think I'm still in shock over the hideous traffic. I thought it was bad coming from California...not even close!

I like it much better, right here, behind my moniter, typing away safely.

I keep hearing that in a few months it will clear up...I'm prayin' that's true.

It clears up a tad, and when I say a Tad I mean it, than some other event around the planet brings it right back to unbearable.

DR. B I went to high school in Palatine IL (Ill-ah-noy.......not noise people! gggrrrr heh heh) and I have to admit being completely spoiled by Chi town pizza. Every place I have ever gone to outside of the state that claims to have chicago style pizza is so OFF. Oh how I miss the windy city and all the GREAT food
although you could clearly see I am not missing many meals here! LOL Also had my first REAL Gyro outside of chicago and havent found any that come even close to as good as those were but some places down here in Florida do a pretty good job.
