I fucking love |popcorn| movies & I love that thney're remaking the Batman movies in this way. Batman begins was so fucking good that you forgot it was a remake of a cartoon & watched it as a normal movie. And The Dark Night was fucking AMAZING & a good story.

I agree on the last two Batman movies and I don't even really like comic book movies.

I didn't watch Batman Returns until it started showing on one of the satellite premium channels and I watched it from the middle first and then watched the whole thing.

I don't watch silly movies like Batman, I watch intelligent movies like Over The Hedge....|jester|

I agree with |greenbat."The Dark Knight " is a masterpiece.I think Ledger was great. -- "Why so serious" is my favorite line now.

I agree with Greenie that the reboot of the Batman franchise with Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are both fantastic. The older batmans are too cartoony and I like the darker and more realistic direction Nolan has taken. People are saying its been overhyped because of Heath Ledger's death, but I have no doubt this would have been huge either way. Ledger's joker shits all over Jack Nichelson's.

Depp playing the Riddler could be pretty cool.

Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors but reviving the Riddler is a stupid idea (hopefully it's just a stupid rumor.) They need to move on a try out some newer villians and dump the used-to-death classic ones. The only way they can reinvent Riddler in my mind is make him some sort of hardcore psychopath (like the Heath Ledger Joker) and make a Se7en-type movie starring Batman. And even that is far fetched. The Ridder will just put Batman back in ridiculous, over the top territory.

I totally dig the "reboot" of this story line. However, I'll disagree about ledger's portrayal of joker shitting all over jack nichelson's version. Come on "you ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?"

I think a lot of what I feel is bad is the costumes and makeup and just look that Jack had no part in. The acting under it though is solid. So it's hard to say. In this new version they didn't have joker once as his "formal" self where as in the tim burton batman they showed how batman pretty much created the joker. So I don't think it's really a shitting all over Jack's joker.

That being said, Ledger did do an fucking amazing job as the joker. The licking of the corners of his mouth was/is just creepy.

if Johnny Depp will play the Riddler well i guess it will beat the dark knight's rating and will set another box office records.

....I gotta' tell ya' ......Ginny and I saw that movie Yesterday. I think it was the best fuckin' flic that I have seen in years! Joker is my newest hero! ....now THAT is bloody' scary...even to me. :-)

The redo's of Batman series are amazing. Batman Begins WOW'd me from the first time I saw it. Im supposed to be headed to IMAX tomorrow with a bunch of us to see Dark Knight and then hanging @ Buffalo Wild Wings for UFC 87.

The secondary rumor is that Philip Seymour Hoffman will revise the role of the Penguin.

the reboots were needed and managed to kickass...

sometimes people forget, the batman comics had several reboots themselves...
