The sun is out, the birds are squawking, and is we are suppose to have nasty storms this afternoon.

Going to get some relaxing beach time |potleaf|in before the storms hit and we risk getting fried by a lightening bolt instead of the sun.

In my never ending attempt to find a designer that wants work and actually does the work probably going to give this one a shot today.

We're catching the 1047a from Trenton to NY and by noon I'll be munching dirty dogs outside of Penn station.

Drexel is out..but Univ of Pa might be in. And Stevens Tech called and would like to see us next week. |bananna| I'm not so crazy about Hoboken but the reverse commute would be good. Gawd I really don't remember applying to college being so difficult or competitive. Drexel won't accept his current college credits which means he'd have to take all those English 101 classes again.

I'm off to play some tennis, then it's back to cleaning the house! Oh wait, that's not me. I'm far too sexy for tennis. But the wife has informed me that I need to get cracking on cleaning the yard since we are celebrating our daughter's birthday today and there are 17,000,000 doggy landmines out there. I'm not sure why anyone would go out there. It rains every day at the very moment you even consider getting in the pool and our yard isn't exactly a flower garden.

A few errands today, (as instructed by my wife) so I will be out of the house most of the day. Sucks because I will miss OTB, see you all next week.

Good Morning All :) I feel like shit I am going back to bed so there will be no OTB today :(

That is one thing I miss about the data center I used to manage machines in.... I'd take Amtrak from BWI Airport (yes, a train station at the airport, but not really that close to the airport) to Newark Airport (yes, to the train station at Newark Airport), then the Path train over to Jersey City, do my day's work, then take the Path train to the WTC station, have some dogs or pizza, then hop the train back. I don't know if they use Hudson River water to boil those hot dogs, but, they have a unique taste to them that I have never found since. There was a Nathan's in Baltimore next to another data center that came close, but, never did they equal it.

Now I'm hungry for a hot dog.

My benchmarking appears to be done and I believe I've finally gotten things tweaked to the point where I am happy with the results -- and typically that point seems to be far beyond the point where normal people seem to be satisfied, so, that should be a good thing. Finalizing a few things with that config so I can put that project to rest and start on the next.

Just back from what should have been a quick in and out at the grocery store but which turned into $200 worth of "oh that looks good too." So I guess I'll be cooking this weekend.

Speaking of hotdogs ... has anyone else ever noticed that there is no better chili dog in the world than the ones you eat outside in a papermill town. Something about how the smell of the papermill prepares your tastebuds for that first bite which can almost bring tears to your eyes.
