MadHatter and RedCherry are the only ones I know of that have given that a shot, I'm kind of curious about how it's done and their results too

i've put up "clean" behind-the-scenes clips with no nudity from members areas.

you will get a little bit of traffic, but as soon as your vids get reported enough, you will get deleted.

LeRoy 2008-08-14 08:29 PM

Just keep it clean. I saw workout vid that led to porn somewhere.

IMO. make some freesites and promote it that way.

Just like myspace. You can spend a whole bunch of time to get your vids deleted.

I do you tube promotion, but I do them for my own content sites..just vlog a little , they get to know me personally a little..then throw in a shameless plug for my site.. or put a short preview of one of my vids.. ( my vids mainly show my face so its no problem, its the language I have to be careful of).. put my site link on my you tube home page,, it works!

I have it too but compared to link trades, you dont get THAT much traffic from youtube in my opinion.

Angelina,

I'll be glad to use link trades but the problem is that i am running a new site and no one wants to trade with me ...

It takes time to build trades picnclip. Just a tip though...
|whisper| Link trades will be harder to obtain if your traffic source is random youtube traffic.

Presmar 2008-08-15 04:19 PM

Youtube is easy money. I've gotten numerous sales from youtube traffic. The ratios are off the chart with the niche I use.

Just be careful with the vids you upload otherwise you'll get flagged and eventually they will suspend your account. With that said, you should create multiple accounts initially and save all your vids. When and if you get suspended you can re-upload all your vids that have never been flagged to your next account.

I was just kidding dude.My point was that everyone was just openly talking about spamming youtube like it's no big deal.To make it clear to newbies, pulling this crap will get sponsors to drop you like a brick and you won't make sales so don't bother!

I know you were kidding. I wouldn't even begin to know how to bulk email nor would I take the risk.

As far as spamming goes. You are wrong bud. Youtube allows anyone to upload commercial video content to promote your business. YouTube also allows you to mention your website's url in the video, the description and on your YouTube channel.

If you have video content that YouTube users want to see and it complies with Youtube's terms of use, I don't see a problem with it.

So I wouldnt call it spamming.

You may be right Presmar,my bad.Newbies should really try taking advantage of all the adult traffic this board provides before posting at youtube all day though.Thats just my 2 cents.

I agree with you on that...I believe my response may have been a little off-topic because I was really referring to making money on Youtube. As far as getting visitors to a new site I'm not sure how productive that would be, I've never tried it.

However, I do suggest you trade links with other sites to build your link popularity and eventually you should get some SE traffic. Even though your site may be new you should be able to find someone willing to trade with you. I would spend a great deal of my time in the link trade section of forums.

Can someone show us and example of what can be posted on youtube

NY Jester 2008-09-10 04:08 AM

IMPHAMOUS..just go and type in a keyword, youre bound to see examples of whats allowed.

elKabong 2008-09-10 07:10 AM

This is totally off topic, but I took a look at dawnkitty's site and the first thing I saw was " SMALL PENIS HUMILIATON". That terrified me so much that I had to back out and leave immediately... lol

Nice one Imphamous. I caught a few summer camps here in California.

Oh man those cheerleaders up close are phenomenal.

The second time I went Jerry Jones even remembered me :D. He truly is all about the fans.

Yes we will make a good run for it this year. Hope Jessica doesn't get Tony too sidetracked.

Good luck with the you tube thing. IMO make more freesites and keep submitting.

NikkiNefarious 2008-09-13 07:34 PM

I found that clean behind the scenes footage, exclusive clean outtakes, and video interviews are the best thing for viral traffic building. Good luck!
