ccBill links question about the BAN= parameter
I'm thinking about trying to setup some campaign tracking, and have a couple of questions about maybe using the "&BAN=" parameter.
- Does it actually track - Does the sponsor have to enable it - Can I put whatever I want in the parameter - What are the limits on what I can put in the parameter |
The sponsor is the only one who has stats on this. Basically adding the number of the particular banner allows the sponsor to view individual banner stats. This could work for you if the sponsor could give you the information.
I believe the best way for an affiliate to do campaign tracking is to have multiple account numbers with the sponsor. We agree this is not ideal and are working on other solutions as I speak. |
I remember way back when some of my accounts were only 4-digits that I could see banner stats.
Another reason I was looking is all those sponsors that shove everything under one account instead of using the sub-accounts. |

Anyway to display to affiliates cookie length settings (and change history) as well as whether grouping is on? It seems common sense that we should have easy access to this info. |
