Top Lists and Top Referrers
 

Hey all, I wanted to ask about top lists..not the spammy bullshit ones with the banners with traffic in and out next to them. But actual top referrer lists..much like those on Link-o-rama, shemp, drbizzaro's sites.

Do they come via hard links or trade script? And what is the accepted ways to send traffic to them?

The toplists you speak of are usually generated by a traffic trade script. They usually track incoming trade/link partners based on referrer rather than with a link code, so it does not matter if the traffic is from a trade script or a hard coded link.

Thanks Toby. They seem to be a bit more useful than the spammy type with just banner farms of ins and outs.
