Why am I always getting kicked out, and called a Spamer??? help!

I see so many webmaster sites, and most of the time, when I post my ad, I get kicked out or called a spamer.

Please help me. Where can I post my ad?

I have a website, and we need to advertise that we are now signing up affiliates.

Which section should I advertise this in?

I normally aim for the Traffic section, but have been getting bumped out.

Why??

and there are a slew of online police that leave nasty comments when I post in the wrong section, like I just shot a baby seal in the heart.

Traffic forums are usually reserved for webmasters trading links and discussions about generating traffic.

Most boards have an announcements forum. The exact forum names vary, but on this board it's called Products and/or Services offered.

Like Toby said, there's a place for general announcements about your program, keep those posts there. There's other ways you can generate traffic, affiliates, etc, but you have to understand that boards are little communities, people know each other, they don't want someone to only be there to shove a program down their throat. It's kind of like inviting a used car salesman to a party...umm...yeah, who invited this guy?

Just, get to know a board, get a feel for the mood, introduce yourself, and just let that convivial natural flow happen.

yea, you'll do a lot better if you just put a link to your site in your sig and just contribute to the board.

Or buy some advertising :D

Don't steal the designs though ;)

They bring traffic and sales to your site. Just work hard and then work harder as you grow.

Most boards have a SPAM forum for non advertisers or an announcement forum section. Just have to be sure to post in the right category.

Where can we get promotional content?

Most webmasters require :

Picture sets in groups of 20 or more.

Video sets that have 120 seconds split up into 6, 8,10 or 12 separate clips.

it is a good idea to stick around that forum a little bit first as well to both get a feel for the place as well as to build some bridges. :)

always make sure to post your ad to the right category and make sure that you read and understand the board rules and regulation and see if your post fits the qualification of the rules and regulations.
