Any B2evolution bloggers?
It looks like a lot of people like wordpress a lot, but I never did. I run all of my blogs with the cms from http://b2evolution.net/ and I am very happy with it. Anybody else using the script for their blogs?
|
I'm using b2evo two years already but only for mainstream blogs.Good script , lotza skins , widgets and good support .No complains here.

I actually installed it yesterday...it's decent, but I ended up going with a wordpress mu setup instead because I needed to get this project live in a few days and I didn't want to fiddle around with a new script, lol. I'll give it another try though when I have more time.

I'm install this my next new blog to see how it works.

Same here, I've looked at B2 and I liked it but I just don't want to put the time into learning another way to do the things I'm doing with WordPress already. I'm working on a new blog network and I wish there was a better tool. WordPress MU is really for multi-users, which isn't my goal, and B2 seems to look at things that way too. (Blogs Organizer may be better suited for what I'm looking to do, but I'm waiting to see what the promised upgrade includes before committing to that path on my project.)
Maybe once I know more about B2 I may consider using it, but right now the learning curve is keeping me away. . |
I just got off ICQ with Kaktus, he isn't even close to releasing the new BO upgrades.
I'm in the same boat as you guy's I don't have time to learn a new blogging platform and have a new blog I want to put up, so it will be Wordpress cause tagging is critical |
This month I've setup Wordpress MU on a few of my domains and for knocking out mass blogs with handwritten content. It's the dogs bollocks with the amount of time I've saved, instead of doing multiple installs. :)

I'm a big fan of BO as well but I won't use it until it has a better tagging system. I won't build a blog without tags and I'll be damned if I'm going to tag technorati or delicious.

I actually like b2evolution so much I am using it not just as a multidomain blog script, but also as a paysite CMS. I found helpful coders on their support forum that assist me in implementing features that I like to have. I am really happy with b2evo. Hope you guys have a deeper look. It's really worth looking into.
