We won our soccer game Yesterday with 5-2, I scored 2 goals :)
Later today I'll probably go to a fair in the town next to ours, should be fun again.

Managed to kill a couple of sites last night, gay gay gay - hosting company should be fixing them at the moment...

Looks like a long few days ahead. Good thing I have weed and food stockpiled. Gustav is on track to brush us on the west... again we're in the northeast fucking quadrant.

If it stays on track we should do ok. The winds are only supposed to hit tropical storm force in Pass Christian Mississippi. The only worry I have is that we are gonna ride whatever this mother fucker brings in the mobile home Katrina put us in 3 years ago.

Not sure when power and cable will be going out or for how long, so cross your fingers, roll a joint, sit back and enjoy the show.

If anybody can, would ya say a lil prayer to Jesus, or the mexican of your choice that my stash holds out.

Rainy and windy for some odd reason this morning.

Watched Factory Girl last night. The movie portrays a real cynical view of Andy Warhol and just about everything to do with that era. Watched Gia again afterwards so I guess last night was fucked up bio night.

House guest is leaving today. Doing the gym and then just another monotonous day of work and errands planned.

We had a lot of wind and rain overnight but this morning is bright and sunny, though windy as hell, as we wait for the next storm line to move over us. We're nowhere near it's track today but winds here are still supposed to be up in the high 40 mph range with lots more rain on the way. Water level is up a couple of feet already in the boating canals and still rising. The wind won't get us but the water may wind up being trouble if this rising levels continue today.

Wishing you well FanTC, and everyone else in Gustav's potential landfall areas. Damn thing went from a tropical storm to Cat 4 in less than a day. It's down to a 3 for now but supposed to go back to a 4 later today.

And to everyone else, wishing you a day where you can be glad you are where you are.

When I logged in today, I found that I have 14 pages of catching up to do..

It's been a hellacious 2.5 weeks but things seem to be almost back to normal.

Apparently, American Airlines found my missing piece of luggage |bananna| They called last night saying that they had it & that they'd be delivering it early this morning. They then called back & asked if we were closer to JFK or LaGuardia |banghead| So once it takes one more plane ride from NYC to Buffalo, they'll be bringing it out to us. Mind you, this bag has MOST of my clothing, including all the clothes I like & think are cool |pokefun||greenguy| I can't wait to wear a pair of my own socks :D

I also feel a STRONGLY WORDED LETTER flowing from my printer this afternoon as I've fucking had it with American Airlines. Southwest, here I come!

Just curious: were they gay sites? or are you referring to the act of fucking up as "gay"?

I noticed that it's timing it's arrival on land for tomorrow afternoon and right into Prime Time. I also hope their paying out the ass for union guys to work tonight & tomorrow morning to set up their little war party.

A fine morning to everyone.
Spent most of yesterday whining about being hungover. I know, I am a baby about it. :) Anyway, after 14 hours of sleep last night, I am at 100% :)

Today, just a few emails and then off for a ride for my never ending hunt of chicken barbecues.

I feel the same way TPat. I felt bad for feeling I hope it really fucks up their convention, because then it might hurt people, so hopefully just makes a lot of news, but everyone is ok.

Morning all. Beautiful day here this morning, although there are wind advisories for this afternoon. Just waking up, have to go chair my Sunday AM meeting, then back home to get work done. Looks like fall might be finally coming, as it is talking highs in the 80s and 90s next week with not a 100+ day in sight. :D

I did 52 minutes on the treadmill yesterday while watching part of the first Matrix movie...hope to do a hour today while watching the rest of the 1st then part of the 2nd one. Then if I can do an hour a day I should start whittling down some of this excess baggage I'm carrying, lol.

Central Texas has been gearing up for "company", and I know the facilities in the Austin area are setting up to also take the pets. A lot of the Katrina folks didn't want to leave their pets behind, and Texas understands. We wish y'all well, and hope you are all safe.

I am back on a patched up system. I have my main data drive (but not my massive music drive) installed on a 600 mHz P-III with a whopping 512 megs of RAM. It is slow... but it runs. At least I didn't move to Vista!!! It does work, but it is ssssllllloooooowwwww! At least I have access to my data, and can work, right? right!!

That reminds me, I need to call my drug dealer today, his supply might be cut off for a while.

I need to get to Home Depot and get a 30A twist-lock plug for my generator in case we lose power I can wire it into the house power panel and keep the A/C and a few appliances on. Oh, and gasoline too |thumb

Good Afternoon , Well have some yard work and then its working on sites for the yest of the day .

A common thing around here is the 30A -> dryer plug. Turn off the main, unplug the dryer, plug in the cord, viola, no real wiring. If you don't turn off the main, your neighbors that share your two phases can get power and you will have very low amperage 7700 volts at the other side of the transformer that feeds you. I hear the linemen hate that. During one hurricane cleanup, I did make a few suicide plugs which were handy for the quick hookup.

Hannah is doing her wacky thing out in the Caribbean while Gustav aims towards NOLA. Looks like it'll be hitting land sometime tomorrow morning, so, to those in Gustav's sights, good luck.

Apache is being mean, but, I will prevail.

I was re-upgrading to wp 2.6.1 then updating all my plugins yesterday, spent the night with it.
But I think I am changing theme now, mine is too complicated and I am not a php expert. |pokefun|
And found another great free one, easy and simple, it takes a few changes only. I wanted to pay the $40 in my epass to a coder friend to help me out with possible issues and epass took their yearly virtual and card fees so I am in minus now, too funny |loony|:D

I hope this Gustav guy won't do harm to you.. I'll be on it. |waves|
