Can one of my outgoing links be...
A search box that searches my linklist database...?
|
Yes

Sure

On a freesite?
|
Why not?
If it's an outgoing link and counted as such, no problem here ;) Within reason I'm not going to tell anyone what they can or can't link to. |

yes, a freesite
thanks, all! |
No problem here.

Seeing as it's not a normal link, but rather a search box, I'd have to see it in action before I said yes/no.

Reaieeer :D Almost got my head chewed off. Thanks

It is strange to see a search box - or any type of "form" - on a free site, so it's not like you were asking why grass is green. There's a lot that can be done with the push of a form button. |
Lets click the form button so that we can find out. No other way of knowing as it isn't like you can mouse over it to see where it goes. Maybe it goes someplace nice, maybe it downloads something bad, maybe it...

Well, I can't get the damn thing to work on my freesites for now, but basically I want to put my script's search function on freesites which will look like this:
http://www.lusciousdelights.com/linklist/search.htm Note: It won't have the "back to homepage" link nor the logo. It returns sites listed in my database. It will have some text like "keyword porn search" The form function might only work on a php page, but if I can get it to go a html page, what do you think? |

I would not let everyone use it, but I think it'd be ok for trusted submitters. |
OK by me!
