Texts in Wordpress and SEO

I'm just starting a teen blog and I would like to know how many words should my posts contain in order to maximise SEO.

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Min 150 words per post!

SEO is a funny thing. It's almost voodoo. The guy who posted before me pulled a number out of his ass and he should probably stick it right back up there. There's no minimum or maximum, just write posts that you are happy with. Use keyword phrases diligently, but not too often, especially those that appear in a post's title. (If you read your own post and a keyword sounds awkwardly repetitive, you should swap it out for some synonyms.) Basically, posts should be easily read and enjoyed by surfers without sounding like one long commercial. The best SEO will seem unintentional.

Of course, some other idiot will come along and tell you that your posts don't matter and that you should only concern yourself with link trades. If he does, tell him Useless said, "go fuck yourself."

Your best bet is to write posts of varying lengths, figure out what works, measure how well it works, and determine what's worth your time and energy.

Some people can write amazing single-sentence descriptions, while others can write 28 page stories on the fly. Which are you?

It's all about keyword density man. Your unique blog posts mean squat if they don't have your target keyword phrases in em.

word count doesn't really matter, it's all about the relevancy of the content, the density, prominence and keywords to use. You may place several keywords per post but you also have to make sure that the content has meaning not just stock it with keywords...
