Finished the offline stuff before noon so now I have the entire afternoon and evening to catch up on my online things.
Other than that I'll be hanging in th GG&Jim "Work and Lurk Chat" on IRC :)

The problem with waking up and using a laptop in bed is you fall back asleep on it.

Attempt number two at waking up is now in progress, need expresso...

Partner is now driving a PT Cruiser that smells like cat piss and is just slightly more underpowered then your average moped but at less then $2 a day after insurance reimbursement it is hard to complain.

Doing the gym thing once I finally do actually make it out of bed and then just another day of work and errands planned that includes going by a friend's place and feeding her African Gray that likes to bite me when I try to feed the little monster while she is vacationing in Manhattan.

Good Morning.

Watched the movie Recount last night with Kevin Spacey. It's based on the 2000 election and Florida recount fiasco. I say fiasco because as a Canadian I really didn't know that there wasn't actually a recount, that the Florida people in charge (Republicans under Bush) did everything they could to stop and delay the recount. In the end there wasn't a total recount (which is completely stupid, it's an election so shouldn't the people's votes be counted to be sure who won?) and Bush became President with 537 votes more than Gore out of almost 6,000,000 votes. Before the recount Bush was up about 2000 votes but as counties in Florida were being recounted the lead dropped to 500 which is why Bush's lawyers fought to stop it and they won that fight, hence winning the State and the election.

Thankfully Bush's time is done but what a mess he's made of the country.

Morning all:) its cold, i am sweating and i smell....and i dont smell like roses|barf|
...bin busy to paint the second stairs in the basic paint, working above your head with your hands is NO FUN. Now i am waiting till the basic paint will be dry then i have to paint that stairs still 2 times in the color we want|cry|But the good thing is when i have done that, then the hall and the livingroom are done (well done with the things i had to do), then saturday hubby can start with the new floor|bananna.

Tattoo Day for me! I'm getting a character called Afro Steve that my step-son Ryan used to draw all the time. He'd even sign birthday cards & notes with him. Part of me wants to get it on the inside of my left arm, but for some reason I'm fighting myself & thinking about getting it on the back of my calf.

In any event, I'll have one more permanent body modification by dinner time |thumb

I like tattoo's, but i like the personal tattoo's more, thats why i took the tattoo on the inside of my wrist, it has a personal meaning for me.:) btw Afro Steve looks great and funny!

Tommy isn't going to like you getting a tattoo.

Morning all. Good luck on the tattoo Greenie. All I'd say is back of your calf is going to hurt a lot less than on your arm.

Today I get to call a friend and tell him that little project he had me volunteer to help him on, which has gone from thought it would be a 1x deal to "do I need to set deadlines for you to get stuff done on a daily basis" you need to find someone else. I need to spend time working on stuff that makes me money. |angry| I hate confrontations of any kind, and know he's going to have a hard time finding another webmaster that is willing to do as much as I was doing. Why he volunteered to maintain a website when he has no idea what he is doing...oh wait, he duped me into doing all his work, what was I thinking?

I was looking forward to the debate tonight until the thing with Gwen Ifill came up. You know that Palin is going to fall on her MILFY arse and then say she got biased questions. Let just hope that Biden has learned how to edit.

More work today.. we are about 2 weeks away from our annual 'state of the consumer electronic industry' presentation and it's not looking good except that we got a notice yesterday from the .org that is putting this on (the same one that does that big convention every year in Vegas at the same time as AVN) to say we need to put a positive spin on it. Almost impossible. Tho the sales of digital TVs is up due to the February end of TV as we currently know it, |greenguy| 1950's antenna be dammed.

Waking up late and trying to pound a ton of coffee to get myself going. Didn't get home from the game last night until 1. Then thought it was a great plan to watch some TV.
