Trying out JW Player. Does this movie play for everyone?

It's an h.264 movie embedded in JW Player.

The Test Movie

Planning on switching over to this player inside of the member's area so that QuickTime isn't needed to play member movies.

I wonder if maybe your Firefox Flash player is out of date?

Works fine in IE 7 for me, played for 41 seconds if that helps at all.

If no one else is having issues in FF I'd say that's quite likely as I don't remember updating it

Works fine in the latest version of FF on the Mac :)

41 seconds is the length of the clip.

Any other Firefox under Windows users try it?

I may end up putting up two sets of streaming links, one for QuickTime and one for Flash, to keep everyone happy.

Oddly it would seem after getting feedback on Foxy's site that many are downloading the ipod movies and not even using the streaming links.

Strange, that didn't work well for me in Safari or Firefox. In both cases the movie did begin to play but was more like a jerky slideshow, and when I paused it to let the progress bar fill up before playing it again, the movie showed in the progress bar that it was playing but the image wasn't moving at all. Same thing in both browsers on the Mac.

To be sure, I downloaded the latest Flash player from Adobe and reinstalled for both browsers and tried again. No difference at all (and I already had the latest version of Flash installed anyway).

Most Flash videos play just fine here, but this one didn't work for me.

:(

Worked fine in FF, but I had to update Flash player in IE to get it to play. Before the update, it acted like it was loading, but wouldn't play (in IE). Fine in both now.

It needs Flash version 9 or greater to play because in Flash 9 the ability to play h.264 movies was added. This Flash movie is actually just a mp4 movie being played inside of the Flash player.

I thought the player was suppose to prompt you to download the current version of Flash if the installed version was older then version 9 but it seems that it doesn't.

Worked ok in IE7 and FF 3.03 with vista if that makes any difference.

Works here in FF 2.0.0.16
