Another wet morning. Got up a few minutes ago to turn the lawn sprinklers off after a night of rain storms from hell that woke me up a few times.

No real plans for today other then more of the fucking same.

Good morning. Lots of work today and maybe some movie watching tonight. Wife and daughter are in Montreal for the weekend.

Went to the hockey game last night. Jesus our goaltending sucks. Almost made an awesome comeback in the 3rd but still list 4-3. :(

Greenguy, when cleaning the pool house you should find the mouse I bought for my laptop last weekend, LOL.

Morning |yawn| I've been up since 330am.. so I'm sure there is a nap in my future.

Just work and a short break to run to the Palms later today will be on the menu. I'm pretty sure by 1 or 2pm I'll be booting up Season 5 of the Shield and playing catch up. Watched The Hulk yesterday.. Ed Norton was very good and the outtakes were pretty funny. The alternate beginning was hmm well disturbing.

Today is the birthday number 1 of my fiancee's niece. I haven't bought a present yet, any ideas?

I've made 12 lbs of shea body butter in the last two days, and another 6 lbs to go today and I'll be done. Our house is starting to look like a shea butter / shoe factory, lol. I've got a lot less empty jars to go since I took that picture. |thumb

MadHatter is down to about 6 pairs to finish (the yellow line ones, that is tape making them off to airbrush them to look like bricks) and we should be pretty good to go for next weekend's fair. |virgohippy|

Work for now, and then later put some of the living room back together.

Went to the party last night but when my hubby found out i was asleep at the table at 11 we went home. I couldnt help it, i felt sick like a dog, today the same .....still sick, but since the clock will go one hour back this night, i can sleep a bit longer tomorrow:D

Watched The Kit Runner last night, thought I would fall asleep in the middle of it, instead I watched the whole thing and was teary eyed at the end, not bad for a chick flick.

In the years before my 'official' coke days, a friend's dad was a neurosurgeon with a lab at home where he had a beautiful and incredibly precise scale which operated in a vacuum inside a glass dome. But once his dad caught him using it (and punished him in a way not unlike that below) we had to find another way to be sure what things weighed.

To be sincere I had no idea what shea butter and painted shoes were, so I googled both terms and I think the painted shoes are a cool present indeed!
