Zeppelin to go back on the road

It just doesn't seem right

"Rock legends Led Zeppelin are planning to tour and record but without frontman Robert Plant."

Wow. No Robert Plant :(

This will be interesting to see who they choose to take his place. If that's even possible. |crazy|

The guy from Black Crowes would be ok, I guess.
I can't remember his name and don't feel like looking it up. :)

Is that the deal? Chris Robinson??

Yah I'd go see em but they need to call the tour some song title or Communication Breakdown lol.

I saw Robert Plant twice and once with Jimmy Page. Even at old age there's no matching that sound he has. I can't think of a good match if my life depended on it. Who knows they'll prolly put Sebastian Bach and make a reality show too. Making sure to sell the tix. lol

When the Grateful Dead go on tour they call it "The Dead" cuz it's just not the same thing with the original singer.

The guy from the Black Crowes would be a great choice. Jimmy Page has done some stuff with him before and it sounded fantastic.
You can't go back in time though, and I'll pass on the concert if it comes my way.
A live album would be great too, but Zep's last studio album before Bonham's death wasn't that great for me. Still, it would be interesting to hear a new studio album, there is no shortage of talent left, even without Plant.

This type of thing bugs me. Call the band something else then.

Wow, thats too bad. Because by the time I was into music..Zeppelin had pretty much finished up. I think the money they'd make would be ridiculous..wonder why Plant doesn't want in? And for the record Zeppelin without Page or Plant is NOT Zeppelin at all.

|banghead| Wouldn't be a Led Zeppelin concert in my book and I wouldn't pay to see it.

He's great but he's not Zep.

They should form a new band, with a new name and do something exciting.

They got the Led in there but it looks like the Zeppelin went up in flames

Greenguy 2008-10-29 05:21 PM

That's not Zeppelin :(
