I'm back from Europe
 

Hi all!

I've been away for six weeks, touring around Europe and enjoying the Berlin Porn Film Festival. Had a spectacular time and I have to say it was wonderful to meet heaps of like-minded people at the festival. Had a long chat with Ole Ege, the Danish pioneer of porn and met a number of fab female porn filmmakers and bloggers. I also met Eon McKai from Vivid Alt although I was too drunk to schmooze in the appropriate manner :) But he was cool.

Oh, and then there was all the fisting and goldfish insertions...

So now I'm thinking I'll have to get off my butt and finally make it to one of the webmaster events in the US. Because actually meeting people in person is quite the experience and well worth the effort.

In any case, I'm slowly getting back on deck and working through all the emails and builtup submissions.

Also came home to discover that the Aus government has admitted that ISP filtering will be mandatory for everyone... so if that goes through, I'm moving to Amsterdam or Berlin. The Europeans are so easygoing about sex, I wish the Aussies would think like that.

Ah Fonz, sorry. We whizzed by Antwerp at 250kph on the Thalys super fast train (they give you free wine, you know). I waved.

Beyond that we only made it to the Menin Gate at Ypres in the motorhome, then headed south again. France is bigger than we thought. And we had to rush to get to the Giger Museum in Switzerland (which was every bit as cool as I expected).

Glad you had a good time. Going to shows is like a vacation but you get to meet others you talk to online while you're at it. :)

25.00 rooms at the Orleans in January.. of course depending on which way tomorrow goes, there might not be anyone left in the country.

Yeah Stu, we went to Amsterdam and really loved the place. Almost no cars in the city centre and everyone is really laid back.

Of course, the weather was a bit hard to take but we were slowly getting used to it. To the point that we got back to normal spring weather (30 degrees C) and nearly died of heat exhaustion.

DocHolly, I actually think going to Vegas would be a fab idea, just not sure if we could get organised in time. I'm so grateful to DallasDeb for holding the fort while I was away but I'm not sure she'd put up with me going on another junket. Unless we went together, I guess :D

yeah almost all cities cars are banned...........still we Utrechters hates the amsterdammers:D
