need some css design?

First of all, thanks Greenie for allowing me to post here, and for Greenie & Jim for providing this incredible board where I have found the encouragement and resources to get me where I am today! Also, a big thank you to the chatroom work-and-lurkers for their support (and extra to a couple of guinea pigs :D)

Since being bitten by the css bug at the beginning of the year, I have been devoting a lot of time to honing my skills in the wonderful world of table-free css website design. As the culmination of that, I'm proud to announce my new business offering (x)html and css web design services, for both mainstream and adult.

CSSetc.com is devoted to providing the highest quality hand coded (x)html and css design!

Here are some of the basic services I will be providing:

psd to html - have your design and/or graphics laid out in Photoshop, Illustrator or other image files? I will code it into clean, standards compliant, validated (x)html and css. This includes image slicing and optimizing, table-less layout, and commented, easy to update (x)html and css files. Prices depend on number of pages and complexity of design.

Link Lists - get your Link List converted to table-less design! I will take your current site and code it in (x)html and css, making it easy to update your whole site's look with one simple file. Validated and error free. This includes index/main page plus one category template page extensively commented for painless duplication, from $50

tgps/hubs/other pages - one page existing site conversions from $35

Of course, things are always negotiable for my fellow GG&J-ers, so don't be afraid to ask :)

I'm also offering other miscellaneous services related to css, including piecework design such as menus, navigation bars, freestanding columns, buttons and other light graphic work, as well as consultation. If you're having trouble making css do what you want, I can help!

All pages are tested live in multiple browsers for both PC & Mac, and guaranteed or your money back. For a free no obligation quote, just go to www.cssetc.com and add some style to your site!

:)

Seriously PonyGirl. That looks great and I might need you for something. I've been having the hardest time with a little tiny bit of CSS that's been driving me nuts!

ponygirl 2008-11-13 07:05 PM

thanks for the kind words everyone, and Sir Moby hit me up anytime I'll have a look :)

Wow.Site looks great.|thumb
If somebody from this board was about to offer this service a month ago.
I'm kinda redesign my site too with CSS table-less design with my early beginning skills in this area , and not really sure if there are errors or mistakes in coding but site looks good in all browsers so I guess it's OK.

But for the future I know where to go.

It's not bad for a first CSS design attempt.
Thanks Maj.Stress

Congrats Ponygirl!

I will be bugging you soon, you know how well CSS and me get along!

Best of luck to you |thumb

Bobc01 2008-11-13 09:36 PM

You've done a top job there PG and having been one of your guinea pigs, you did a top job on the table-less conversion you did for me so a massive thankyou to you for that. :)

Ms Naughty 2008-11-14 02:16 AM

That's rather tempting, actually Ponygirl. Although some of my sites are so old I'm thinking I should redesign them first... which sounds like a silly thing to do.

Simon 2008-11-14 07:34 AM

Big congratulations to Ponygirl |thumb

No more hiding or keeping your head down for you, now everyone's going to know you have mad skills.

Wishing you much success. |roses|

Not bad at all...(mine looks a little different...|huh ). For my main site I'm thinking of just starting over from scratch, although I've converted most of it.

My latest FS are all css, no tables. It does seem to take a little longer, though...I guess I'm still getting used to it.

Twiceshy 2008-11-14 11:30 AM

digifan 2008-11-14 02:05 PM

I need help.. in th right sidebar of my blog there is a title which should be white insead of dark grey, see http://www.adigital-fantasy.com and
the title under Shemp's.. whatever goes there, becomes this color and the Shemp part is just a centered link back with a pic..

It happened a few times and I have no idea why.. it is ok in Safari but grey in firefox and IE.

This is the part of the blog I often update/change so it is crucial.
I got a headache and gave up. Tell me how much and I'll be glad to pay.

PS
The free theme comes from http://www.uniqueblogdesigns.com they do designs for yahoo, etc. so I am clueless.

ponygirl 2008-11-14 02:55 PM
