Hey sleepy heads it's that time again, Saturday is calling
 

I still feel full from Thanksgiving diner.

Spent a good part of yesterday cleaning out closets. Clothes, a whole lot of shoes, books, and other assorted crap. Filled up the Scion to the point of us barely fitting in it and took the whole mess over to Goodwill and got a tax receipt.

Bought Beejive IM this morning and playing around with it. Unlike all the other IM apps this one cost money but seems like it will be worth it.

Going to the gym here in a bit and then home to do more house cleaning, some web work, and more packing for Busch Gardens. We are having a friend stay at our place to look after our personal zoo and she is coming over later so that I show her her zoo keeping chores.

MadHatter and I are heading down to Home Depot in a few hours to take two free classes. One in tiling floors and walls, and one in taping drywall. Looking forward to it. Since the next kitchen project requires both skills, it will be nice to learn how to do it right. I've taped drywall but it has been a good 15 years, and I've never tiled so I can't wait. I love this kind of stuff. We save soooo much money if we do it ourselves, the labor for tiling the bathrooms was insane.

My In-Laws are leaving today and even though I walked around and stood in lines all day yesterday I still feel full, of course eating all the junk available did not help. Well, the fridge is still full with leftovers so I guess I will have this feeling for a few more days.

I feel like your avatar. MadHatter and I have been good at avoiding sweets until we bought a carrot cake and baklava at WalMart. I'm glad its almost gone, I've ate more sweet stuff in the last 3 days then I have in the last 6 months, lol.

My head hurts, most likely due to not having my morning coffee. You know, if my wife was addicted to heroin, and I had gotten up before her, I'd have some cooked-up and a clean syringe on her bedside table. Why can't she make a pot of coffee for me?

One of GG&Jim's silly new free site submitters PM'd me asking, "if you have somewhere you would list my sites at?" So he doesn't know if I'm a link list owner or which list I may own, but he'd be happy to submit to me. For whatever reason, I find that amusing. I also found it amusing that he didn't even supply examples of his work. Oh, these silly kids and their rock and roll. If you read the link list forum, it's a pretty easy guess as to who it was.

Waiting for Fedex.. but the payroll company didn't think anyone was working at our corp. office and sent our "real" checks for delivery on Monday. So these are the little checks but at this point I'm grateful for any and all $$.

Will be headed out for the football pics in a few then possibly a movie.. i want to see Australia.

I have to plan a little holiday party around the 22nd. I guess they didn't get the memo that my motto from Thanksgiving until 1/2/2009 is "Bah Humfuck"

It's a bit late for good morning so good afternoon :)

Yesterday Emmy set me off on a link checking exercise, which has become a domain wide purge of all old links to sponsors whose links are redirecting or who have moved over to nats. It's something I should have done long ago so it's my fault but I figured that as long as the links worked, they would be fine. Unfortunately for me on checking further, I see that the galleries I have up are not in many cases even listed on the sponsor sites anymore although they do still open. Many of them are 302 temp redirects, which is probably fine but why wait to swap them out later if they are coming out of the sponsors gallery sets for good? I have opened my own can of worms and now i'm stuck fixing it so I suppose i'll be updating and deleting a lot over the next day or so. On the upside when I populate my new domain at least the work will be done and I can simply import the links I want in one fell swoop.

Afternoon. Back home. I should really be going to a friends birthday party, but I'm not a 100% and would like to enjoy being at the football game tomorrow.

Had a nice time visiting the folks and hanging out with some people I haven't had the chance to be around as of late.

Going to import some netflix dvds (season 2 of battlestar. :) ) Besides that just watch some football and pass out.

Oh, maybe a little work too.
